Dairy Delite — Restaurant in Plainfield Charter Township

In the 11 years I've been coming here I never had a problem until today. Customer service and the ice cream has always been great until I had to deal with Mariam this last time. I always get a butterfinger flurry and this time there was hardly any butterfinger in my ice cream. Never had a problem before. Mariam told me because I already ate some she couldn't take it back. I told her I didn't eat anything, I haven't even walked away from the window yet. She told me she couldn't be sure if that and that the required amount was in there. She started getting really rude when I showed her my husbands flurry compared to mine, gave me some excuse about how it comes out of the machine but still offered nothing to fix the situation. I'm not posting a review about the ice cream not being right because I've never had a problem before. My issue is with the young girl who took my order and her lack of customer service. This one issue will not keep me from coming back here, they have great ice cream and the customer service is usually great. I'm hoping the owner will see this and will give Mariam a lesson on...

your workers were screwing around instead of listening to the customers. i had to repeat my order 8 times. then my small sundae was turned into the messiest flurry i ever saw! it was 4.5 inches over the top of the cup and made the biggest mess on my 4 minute drive home. Not only was I covered in ice cream, but my seatbelt, door, and steering wheel were, also, covered in the entire 4.5 inches of ice cream above the cup, and it didn't stop there. As I was trying to get a bowl from my kitchen, it started pouring onto the floor. We used half a pack of baby wipes to try and contain the mess, which the mess just pooled around the wipes and made an even bigger mess taking them off the cup. We will never be back. 1. customer service sucked. 2. prices are high for a mess of this magnitude. 3. girls didn't listen and gave me the wrong thing. 4. the wait between ordering and getting the order was extremely high (my kid had his banana split nearly 15 minutes before i got my sundae...

This place is closed now for the season in Comstock park but we have been going here for years me and my children. A small quaint lil shop that is open in the early summer till fall. Always greeted by friendly people at the counter, decent prices and a cozy little area with tables and chairs if your looking to sit outside and enjoy ice on a hot summer day.
