Iām so happy to have a place like this in Grand Rapids (Comstock Park). They offer over 50 flavors of cotton. Which they make in house with local quality ingredients. And these arenāt your average flavors of cotton candy from the circus. No, we are talking fried chicken, sweet onion, cheddar jalapeƱo, zebra stripe (yes like the gum) and so much more. Honestly, for the price ($a tub or 3/$12) it is more than fair especially for the portion. I feel like most places that make specialty cotton candy easily charge $8 for this size and are no where near as delicious.
And they donāt just offer cotton candy. They do Fay go floats. Ice creams bars from Ice Box and popsicles from a local brand. And they offer build your own cereal bowls!! Iām happy this isnāt your typically ice cream shop (weāve got plenty of those already). The uniqueness of what they offer and friendliness of the owner (shout out to Corin for being such a friendly and knowledgeable owner) definitely helps them stand out.
I got the baja (like baja blast) sour blue raspberry and frebbles (fruity pebbles). They were all so delicious.
I really hope this place gets the recognition and foot traffic it rightly deserves. Definitely will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here today after eyeballing this place for most of a week... Max greeted us with a smile and pleasant attitude.
We've never been here before, so he was super helpful in describing things and helping us make decisions. He convinced me to get a bunch of freeze dried treats, so we could have awesome snacks on the go.
I myself got the Girl Scout. It was absolutely amazing and the mint-chip was so perfect with the warm brownies and fudge.
My GF got the cookie sandwich & was definitely happy with it. The cookie had the perfect soft/crunch ratio and the filling was great too.
My kids got the electric Lemonade and The Lucky Day. They were ecstatic to have such an overwhelming treat. The containers all come with lids, so if you don't eat it all, you can save it for later.
Again, shout-out to Max. He made our first visit there absolutely awesome & we'll definitely be visiting more often!
EXTRA: There's a park attached to the parking lot for kids to burn off all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy #3 grandson and I were visiting Dwight Lydell Park today(7/8/23) in downtown Comstock Park when we noticed this ice cream parlor, Fluff Buckets. It was a warm day( an excuse to eat ice cream), so we wandered over and ordered a couple of Classic Ice Cream Bars/ black cherry. They were so delicious and a great price. They have a huge menu, and the employees are courteous, friendly, and provide quick service. My new go-to for on the road ice cream. We will definitely be visiting again real soon, and I will add that their building was very sharp looking. There were picnic tables to relax and enjoy your delicious ice cream. Thank you. Your new friends papa...
