Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Plainfield

I honestly don’t know what happened to this place as I always seem to love going to BWW but unfortunately this particular location was terrible! I was very disappointed with my order and the service was shabby. My daughters were the ones suggesting that we come here as they had a taste for wings for lunch. The table at the booth was sticky so I had to request the table to be wiped down. We ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and 15 boneless Buffalo wings with 2 things of celery and carrots, large fries, and 2 cokes and a strawberry lemonade. The mozzarella sticks were just mediocre like cafeteria food and the Parmesan garlic wings were so overcooked that my 8 year old daughter and myself couldn’t even stab a fork thru it! To top it all off my waitress was m.i.a. and I had to flag down another guy to get a refill on my strawberry lemonade. That was unacceptable. You have one job! Rule of thumb always make sure the customers get their drinks filled. Always. The waitress finally showed up after chitchatting with her other coworkers and I told her that the wings were over cooked and so they had the manager come over to our table. He opted for another order for us but I said “No”. I just simply wanted it taken off my bill and I wanted to leave. After we paid for the remainder of the bill my girls and I went to the ladies bathroom which by the way needed attention as every single toilet was clogged up with toilet paper and you get the idea….to make a long story short I don’t think I’ll be back here any time soon. Never had any complaints about any other locations around the area just this location needs to really “bring it” if they intend to stay around in this so called vacant...

Buffalo Wild Wings. Sports bar that claims to offer great sports and great wings. However, this location is franchise-owned instead of corporate-owned and strays far from what the company promises.

This particular B-dubs has an ideal location and consistently good sports. After going to this restaurant for years, these are now its only saving graces. In the past year, this place has seriously tanked and gone down hill. The wait times are dreadful due to understaffing. Takeout orders are often incorrect. The food comes out cold and rubbery (more so than usual). Service is subpar. The place is just as dirty as it was before Covid. All can be attributed to incompetent management.

In my most recent visit, I entered the building with my party and was not seated by any of the staff. After finding our own seats, we were finally tended to 20 minutes later. The waitress was friendly however, was unsure of the drink menu and called her manager over. The manager was not familiar with state laws nor ID protocol and tried to turn down my friend's valid license. After accepting the remaining ID's and taking our drink orders, he returned only to have forgotten the drinks and to deny drinks entirely after we requested again. The entirety of the interaction he was rude, disrespectful and lacked competence. Handled terribly!

I went in this weekend about an hour and a half before closing. Now, they were understaffed at this time whicg didn't bother me...at first. There was 1 person staffing 4+ tables... if it's a weekend why would you have barely any staff there (even if there is only an hour and a half before closing). So I placed an order for an appetizer which took longer than unexpected considering everyone else at the other tables were already halfway through with their meals. Now, with my meal I ordered 4 naked chicken tenders and upon receiving my order it was incorrect. I apologize for being THAT type of customer, it was just that I wanted my naked tenders. So, this gentleman who wasn't even serving us told me that the grills were off and that it was cleaned so there was not much they could do. I then continued to eat my food until the manager came to my table to apologize and offer to give me my right order. I responded that they already turned off the grill and I didn't want to cause any trouble. He responded that he would then take my order off my bill. Now on this experience I can say that they need to hire more staff and coming from myself who has applied here.. please look over applications because this was very stressful on...
