I found out they were at the Kenosha county fair and personally my daughter went on sensory Friendly day from one pm to three pm now. My daughter was able to go on the rides but was told due to wristband that she disqualified for that ride which again didn't make any kind of sense.
My daughter caseworker made sure I could do this with my daughter as people should not have to upgrade for my child to enjoy all the rides like the rest as again many things can be said on this situation like discrimination and judgement now because not everyone fall in the same category for their sensory needs as different specific needs now but each individual isn't the same now. Why should the rest have to fall in the same group now as shouldn't it be up to the parent if their child can ride or do something knowing their conditions? It truly disappointed my daughter as she said it was the worst experience ever unlike last yr these issues did not happen now. Again many of us pay enough to get into the fair now as if it's free for the few hours they should not be discriminated on what rides they can go on now. People spend enough at the fair as find it not right having to upgrade a wristband when it was a sensory friendly day from one pm to three pm now.
Personally I did speak with a individual and how it was handled wasn't done appropriately nor right but thankful my six yr old handled it much better even if I knew sadness like disappointment was there. If this happened to someone else a different scenario could have...
Read moreJust watched a bolt or pin fly off of the hang gliders while my kids were on it. One of the two teenage employees reaches down and pockets it.
When confronted, one of the employees says "It's ok, one of them is broken and we roped it off"
After 5 minutes of looking, they found the cart the bolt came from, not the one roped off, and continued to operate the ride. I never saw an engineer or tech called to reinspect.
Edit to address the owners response:
While I appreciate your timely response to a google review, I asked around for a manager for five minutes. NOBODY directed me to one. I also witnessed people being let back on the ride before they found the proper cart for the part, before any other employee was present, and with the pin still clearly visible in the ride attendants pocket.
I understand this may have been a redundant part, but as an engineer I also understand a pin that big is not holding on trim. Your people responded poorly when confronted, and I trust that with your proclaimed dedication to safety that this will be a training point...
Read moreI recently went to a few carnivals that were using Alpine for the rides and games. As a person who likes to go to these carnivals, I sometimes interact with the workers. All the workers that work for Alpine are really amazing people, were friendly to everybody, and knew what they were doing. I was talking to one of the extremely nice workers who recommended I leave a review for the company, so Iâm writing this review so they know they did good. I also attached some pictures of the rides, since, like most carnival rides, look way better at night. One of the reasons I like Alpine is theyâre family owned, unlike NAME (North American Midway Entertainment) for example, which is a corporate owned company, which another worker told me. I did have a personal incident at an Alpine supplied carnival, however it isnât related to, or caused by Alpine Amusements themselves. Overall, I give them a 5/5 on the review mainly because of how kind and friendly the workers are. And the rides themselves are really fun too (I also attached a picture of me at one of the...
