My family and I have been coming to this Chipotle location for years. We have seen it change as the Chipotle company as a whole has gone through its different seasons. I am saddened to say that this is not the same Chipotle I once knew.
When we got in, we quickly noticed how dirty and disheveled the place was. Uncleaned tables, trash lying around, and the food preparation line was a disaster. When we finally got up to the front (we gave them the benefit of the doubt as it was quite a long line), we were helped by an exhausted young man who didn’t even say a word, just waited for us to start ordering.
When we got to the end, it took me a moment to get my card out and I was promptly given attitude by the woman working the register. I understand that they were busy, but the way she was barking orders at the others behind the counter, I can only assume she was the manager. I have been to thousands of restaurants in my life time and never have I seen such poor management. It’s no wonder everyone looked as defeated as they were if they’re working for someone who has zero patience.
It’s a good thing that there’s many other Chipotles in the area because we will not be returning to this one anytime soon. I only hope for this location’s sake that things...
Read moreThis location is filthy and I’m being nice by saying that. This would be the second time I have walked out and went to a different location. I was in disbelief not only of the lettuce cheese dried up meat and beans on the food line but the cross contamination of blacks beans in pinto and vice versa. Chicken in the steak I could go on. Every single and I mean every single table was smeared with food or food on it. It was disgusting. If that is the level of cleanliness you present I can only imagine what is going on in the back when preparing the food. By the way the back floor was littered with food as well. I give grace maybe an off day but I visited this location over six months ago and walked out because of the same issue. I wanted to try the brisket so I went down the street to the Naperville location which was clean and polite. I don’t believe “What?!?” is what you say when you need a customer to repeat themselves. Which I witness him do to the customer in front of me before I walked out. By the way supervisor came up told them to call out what was low and never once told them to clean the station. Terrible. I only went for brisket. I will continue to go to Dos Bros in Naperville. Always clean fresh and their pinto beans...
Read moreWhere do I start….. Today’s visit was a very poor experience. Ordered online and waited 20+ extra minutes while nobody was standing in line as the online orders were backed up. 1 poor employee working the line while 3 clowns floating back and forth mindlessly from kitchen to front of house. The few good employees were apologetic about being behind on orders yet others are just barely helping. We finally get the food and while it was ok, there are bits of the food that are way over salted ultimately making the food very unpleasant. We also found the bathrooms dirty and the tables filthy at the 12.30-1.30 pm timeframe on a Saturday. For this being a corporate establishment, very disappointing and makes me wish there was a QDOBA near us for a quick meal. This is far from a respectable meal with dirty tables and littered bathroom floors. STEP IT UP CHIPOTLE, VERY UNACCEPTABLE
By the way, this location has been slipping also from previous visit, just finally decided to throw...
