McDonald's — Restaurant in Plainfield

There is only one employee that’s extremely pleasant at the drive-through. I don’t remember his name but he’s extremely enthusiastic kind and complements and makes you laugh.

The last time I was there I had to come back for a refund because not only did they give me the wrong order, it was cold and the last straw was that there was a hair in it.

Thought I’d give them another shot today and the same girl I’ve seen in the drive-through before … she’s on her phone with an earpiece with her back turned to me. I know this because she was holding her cell phone in her hand when I pulled up and she’s clearly not talking to anybody that works there or a customer. I see a bag sitting on the counter that might be mine. She finally realizes that I’ve pulled up to her window looks in the bag and just stares at me. doesn’t smile acknowledge you or say anything and just stares at you and hands you your food. When I say thank you, she just kept staring and didn’t say anything back. Like a complete dead luck with no emotion. No effort at all for customer service and it’s a joke that she...

The ONLY reason this gets 2 stars is because it's open late and it's one of the only ones in Plainfield that are. My husband and I just ordered from there, and this is at least the 3rd time (late at night) that they've stated they're only accepting cash. This time it wasn't an issue, but we've left previously because of that. This time, we were the only people in line, and ordered a 10 piece nugget meal and a double cheeseburger - plain...the person working the drive through relayed the order back to us, perfectly, and we proceeded to the window to pay. All was well until I bit into the cheeseburger and noticed ALL THE CONDIMENTS were on it. The nuggets also were a bit stale and had probably been sitting out for a bit before they were served. Super ridiculous. This isn't the first time this McDonald's has screwed up our order, but it will be our last visit to...

I didn’t catch the managers name, but she’s a pretty, young women. I came through drive thru I don’t carry cash at all, the system was down and my little ones wanted McDonalds. I had a coupon to get a happy meal for free with the purchase of a combo. I didn’t even have enough cash for combo. She charged me for my sons two my chickens and gave me happy meal. Thank you. My son literally loves McDonalds chicken nuggets and by time I drove to get cash and came back they would’ve been closed. YOU have no idea how that remarkable gesture touched my heart. I am a regular customer, again my son loves the nuggets. But she handled the situation so respectfully and kind hearted! Thank you, you know who you are.
