Otto's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Plainfield

Avoid at all costs. Sooooo disappointing.

I got delivery from this place and there was an issue with every part of this meal.

Garlic knots - literally no taste of garlic at all. I do t think there’s a salt shaker in the entire kitchen. All the food was boring and bland.

Green side salad - Warm. Every other part of the meal l came at the appropriate temperature but not the salad. Mostly lettuce with a few tomato and cucumber slices. Meh.

Dressing - Creamy Italian. Definitely not creamy and I’m not even sure if it’s Italian.

Entree - Ziti with sausage. Excellent portion size. Unfortunately, you won’t want to eat it. Dry, bland and flavorless. Not enough sauce and the sausage was two big chunks vs. slices mixed in with the ziti. So there’s no co-mingling of the meat flavors with the pasta.

UPDATE: I've had many dishes and interactions with this establishment and let me tell you that they do not disappoint at all. This is a family business and the staff members are great with their customers.👍🏽 Keep doing what you're doing because you all are appreciated.

This place is new to me and I've only ordered from here twice and I am confidently giving it 5 stars and that’s mainly because of the Spinach with Chicken appetizer. That dish is really, really delicious.

I am always looking for some sort of vegetable option because a lot of restaurants are filled with starchy menu items. If you like spinach then you'll definitely love this dish. Buy it for the kids too cause it really is that good.

So happy we found Otto and his brother here! If you are from the area then you know that Otto & his brother basically did all the cooking when Rodolfos in south plainfield was owned previously by Frank & Vinny. Ottos pizza is great, crust has a good taste and sauce as well, generous with cheese and toppings and minimal flop. Also ordered antipasto salad that was fresh also ordered a large pepperoni roll/Stromboli, Wow it was enough for 3 meals and tasted so good! Best part is they deliver to south plainfield piscataway and plainfield. Will be our new go to pizza and basic pasta dinner place. Decent price & quantity. Definitely a must try...
