Johnny Rockets — Restaurant in Plains Township

This was a horrible experience. The staff was more concerned about their cell phones than actual customers. Everyone of the staff were on their phones even the ones making the food so unsanitary. A chat actually came in sat at the bar and was completely ignored for 10 mins when he decided to leave and go elsewhere. The food was cold and gross by the time it got to our table, it was not busy so there really was no excuse for that. We hardly saw our server she was too busy visiting with her friends at the bar. It may have been midnight but that does not excuse the fact that this is an establishment in a Casino that has no customer service at all. May I suggest having an adult on that shift to monitor these employees. The contamination possibilities I saw were horrendous. Splashing dirty mop water around eating patrons just so employees can leave early absolutely disgusting. No supervision at all. I will not be returning to this establishment and I used to love this place….. very...

My husband and I went to Johnny Rockets Saturday night for dinner. We stood at the "wait to be seated" sign for about 10 minutes, even though there were many open tables available. We asked a server near by if we could sit, and he told us to "hold on". Another server went about taking orders while we stood next to empty tables. Once we were finally seated, we sat for another 15 minutes waiting for somebody to take our order. We finally just walked out. There were only 4 tables occupied at the time, and a couple people at the counter and about 10 empty tables. Honestly, there were more servers and cook staff on hand than customers, so the lack of service made no sense. I guess since the chain was bought by Friendly's, it lost it's customer service skills along with it's reputation. Was there Sunday Feb 23, wife wanted a ice cream sundae and went to Johnny Rockets for one, Well she ordered it and was told they were out of chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup and whipped cream so she ended up with a bowl of vanilla ice cream for the price of a sundae. We came back on the 24th and saw they were serving breakfast and wife said lets give them another chance. ( we had a poor dinner at a Johnny Rockets up in lake George/Glens falls area few years back) well I ordered the pancakes and sausage. Wife had scrambled eggs and bacon.well I can say they were right about the sausage, there was one skinless link about 2 1/2 inches long and they cut that in half. Not pleased and wife asked for soft eggs and they came dry and flavorless. The jutebox was broken and just hanging sideways .
