Torony's Giant Hotdog — Restaurant in Plains Township

We have loved Torony’s ever since they were a tiny little hot dog stand by the side of the road in Plains! Their chili sauce recipe has remained the same for all these years and they sell the best foot long hot dogs in the area! My husband and I get the hot dogs and fries and the portions are generous. The fries remind me of the kind we used to get at amusement parks in the paper cone with salt and vinegar. Delicious and not “fancied up” with seasonings. Yeah I went to Torony's Giant Hotdog and let me tell you, they're gargantuan. I mean they fit in my big mouth, barely. If I could have more, I'd suck down as many of those in a day as possible. Have not been here in ages, I had two footlongs one with mustard and onion and the second with everything being mustard onions and sauce. The dogs are a good bun to dog ratio, I didn't taste a snap but it was a very delicious tasting dog. Now the sauce to me tasted very unique. Nothing comparable to the dogs I had in the past. It was very tasty as well. Now their hours are Wednesday thru Saturday 12-6....
