Food was amazing, very fresh authentic full of depth of flavor. The couple that owns it are your servers and they are very tetitive and thorough. The atmosphere, well it's plains Montana. Look out the windows to see beauty So today is the second time we have bought food from here cuz we live like an hour and a half away. And it is spectacular. This is probably what food tastes like in China. It's so completely different from American Chinese food that I'd really don't like. The flavors are so authentic. The sweet and sour soup is like no other sweet and sour soup I've ever had I don't normally even like it. But this sweet and sour soup is amazing. And then I had the kung pao which I will never be able to have anybody's Kung Pao again because this was so tasty and yummy. And they cut up everything really really small bites so it's very savory. Did not expect to find such an amazing authentic Szechuan style restaurant on n Plains. I am from Montana and have lived in Vancouver BC for fifteen years. There is world class Chinese food here and I love it. I honestly never thought I would find a place that served real versions of these dishes. I had the spicy chicken. It has some spice in it that I am not sure what it is called in English but the literal translation is tongue numbing spice. And Szechuan peppercorns. I ate a peanut and could not believe it. The chicken has little bones in each piece so eating it with your fingers is helpful, to get the meat off the bone. Honestly, it was deliriously good. We also had the salt and pepper tofu, and some braised pork meal. All just incredibly well prepared, this place would impress people in Vancouver who come from all parts of Asia and eat, and make, the very best. My friend and I consider ourselves foodies. We were on our concert tour in MT. We were so surprised by the authenticity and the quality of C & K, the Mom and Pop home cooking experience.
