Wildhorse Saloon — Restaurant in Plains

So the wife and I go for a walk around town. It’s hot so we made a pit stop to enjoy a beer and then leave. The bartender asks us if we are wearing patchouli oil. We don’t really wear perfume or cologne. We use essential oil in dryer balls instead of dryer sheets. She says her dad gets offended at certain smells even coffee. You can barely smell the oil. The service is great for a small town, I don’t go there with the expectations of the likes of a bar in a bigger city and I’m never disappointed. The food is always fresh to order and comes out piping hot and steamy. Drinks are WAY better pours to the value than city bars (no shot measures here, or stop pours). And it it’s not watered down in ice. If you want a cold beer or a stiff drink, this is the place to get it. If you want ridiculous mixed drinks and the bartender to fawn over your for a dollar tip, please don’t hesitate to leave this small...
