It's a little sad to see how some humans have said such horrible things about the humans whom work within their community. I have been to this Starbucks before and I have had a positive experience. I overheard an employee tell a woman that the employee could not leave her "position." The employee was "positioned" in the spot and it was her responsibility to maintain that spot. Her team members were under the same rules, each tasked w/ responsibility only for their spot. Therefore, it is obvious that the reason they are slow is because of the way they are set up to work. If 5 people are in the drive-thru and ea. person orders only 2 drinks, then the one person whom is in that "position" (to make drive-thru drinks) is now making 10 drinks. Can you now see why when there is a line of cars 10-15 cars deep how that could leave you waiting 30+ minutes? It is because only ONE person is making ALL the drinks. It's sad to read the comments that lack any sense of sympathy and instead choose to bash upon these individuals who work within their own community - and all for choices for which they have no control over. Some reviews either implied or explicitly stated that they sense the employees "don't care," but could it be that perhaps the employees already know they are unable to leave their "position" and therefore they know there is nothing that they can do to solve the issue? I'm sure I would be tired of having angry people speak to me all day for things that I have no control over....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust wanted to say that today on Mothers Day the staff At the Starbucks in Plainville was so patient and so kind, delivering each coffee with a smile. It was very busy and the app was turned off, probably due to the holiday, and there were a lot of very rude customers ā the staff at the Starbucks handled it all very well, and with so much grace. As a former Chef I was very impressed. Making everyoneās individual coffees, all of them so unique, and so detailed, is not easy for even the most trained barista⦠And many of the customers were acting so entitled, and so rude, as if these staff members were ruining their whole Motherās Day because they had to wait for their coffee! I was shocked and that is why I wanted to come in and say how much I appreciate the baristaās at the Plainville Starbucks - they do their jobs very Well, my coffee is always perfect and today I got to see them in action as they handled 35 scowling people, waiting for their order on a holiday. You guys rock and I thoroughly enjoyed my drink and egg bites today and you delivered with poise and smiles in the midst of being in the weeds! You made my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the worst experience in this Starbucks. I mobile ordered 10 minutes in advance and then had to wait 30 minutes in store for my one coffee, when my order slip was just sitting on the counter. They even asked for my name 4 times! Every employee there moved at snails pace and werenāt calling out mobile order names when they were finished being made. Also when I went up and asked about my coffee after 20 minutes the barista I talked to was very short and rude. Normally I donāt complain about a wait time because I also work in my food/drink service industry and understand how stressful it can be. But this was ridiculous. Donāt recommend going to this location at all. Just go to the one in the target down the street. Highly...
