This is a sad review for me as I grew up loving this place, was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. For the most part the foods still good but they made some changes for example their lo mein. I ordered the lo mein based off of two things, one is my previous experience and two was the image in the menu next to the lo mein. Now I’ve ordered lo mein almost every time I’ve had Chinese in different states and countries and all have come the same but when these arrived they were flat slimy noodles that tasted nothing like what they should. I brought this to the waitresses attention and was told I’m wrong, then talked with the manager and was told that they changed their noodles a few years ago and never updated the menu images. I explained these don’t taste or look like any lo mein I’ve ever had but they wouldn’t offer a refund and we didn’t eat them as they tasted awful. The rest of the food was good though especially their chicken wings and crab rangoon.

Some of the BEST Asian cuisine I've had in a really long time. We got the "Big Chow" and "Treasure Island" so we could both try each of them. While the ingredients on the page were similar, the sauces were completely different. Both were amazing, I can't say which I liked better. Both have a rich, succulent depth of flavor, with plenty of meat (no skimping there), and loads of veggies. There was no rice served with either meal, but that was fine. We didn't miss it at all. We skipped the appetizer, too. He did have the scorpion bowl for 1, said it had good flavor, and was exactly what he expected in regards to plenty of spirits... lol. We will definitely be putting this on our regular rotation list, not only for the food quality (which is reason enough) but also for the price. We were very pleased with everything about our trip to Hawaiian Isle. A definite must if you're looking for great Asian cuisine.

Enjoyed our second visit under the new ownership. Ordered a Pupu platter for 2, side of beef fried rice, crab rangoons and extra order of chicken fingers to go. The beef teriyaki and boneless spare ribs were extremely tender, the chicken wings perfectly crispy and salty and the fingers were slightly crunchy on the outside while very tender on the inside. The rice was very fresh and flavorful while the crab rangoons were crispy and full. Overall we enjoyed our visit however we found ourselves missing the complimentary bread and waters that used to be delivered to the table upon arrival. We drive an hour to visit and all agree (including our kids) that it is well worth the trip.

So I’ve been to this place three or four time now on the last year, and each time is worse than the last. The service is terrible, the food is nothing but a pile of grease, and the it has no flavor except salt. We went there the other night with a group of six of us. Our waiter started off ok, but when I had to ask for more water four times and wait ten minutes for a refill I knew we were in trouble. We had to ask for more hot tea more than six times and that took over 20 minutes to get. I know Saturday nights are busy but we went there before 6. Having to constantly ask for more water and then just asking for a pitcher because I was tired of waiting really agitated me (and he refused to leave a pitcher of water at the table because ā€œthey only do that for parties of 20 peopleā€). We also had to ask for more duck sauce five times, which again, took more than ten minutes to get. For someone who’s livelihood depends on service, our waiter seemed content to let out table of six sit there with no drink refills or anything. After the food showed up, he just ghosted us.

The food tasted like it was fried in old oil. The crab Rangoon had no crab in it! It was just cram cheese - no imitation can or onions in any of them! All of the food looked mushy or shimmered with grease. We ordered orange beef and there was no flavor on that either, just salt. We bit into the spring roll to have a pool of oil pour out onto the plates.

Before I went to dinner last weekend, my rings fit fine. I couldn’t even wait to get home two hours later without having to pry my rings off my hands were so swollen with salt. Two days later and my hands and face are still visibly puffy. A gallon and a half or more of water, and I’m starting to be able to get my rings on with some work. This is on top of the fact that both my husband and I had horrifically upset stomachs for almost 48 hours afterwards. I had to skip my Sunday gym class because my indigestion and upset stomach from the night before were plaguing me still!

Just avoid this place. I’m told it was good at one point in its history but it’s just garbage now. From now on, if I want Chinese food, I’ll go to Li’s, or order takeout from...

We came here for dinner. I was home visiting family, and obviously you need to eat Chinese food while in MA. Came here because heard okay things. Right off the bat the sever was very rude, aggressively rude. To the point we thought we should just leave because he was annoyed we were in his section. The place was dead, and we planned on ordering a ton of food, so I mean it’s 5 pm… business right. He also rudely carded my sister, carding is not the problem.. once you’re over 30 please card us… it was how he singled her out and was once again aggressive about it. Food came out quick, tasted good, and then a cute mouse came and snuggled our feet. Of course we were shocked but also I mean it’s the food business, but we ended up losing site of it, and the sever came over and asked if we needed water. We said no and casually joked about the mouse running around . He disregarded us and pretty much shooed us out. Hefty bill, still tipped 20%. It was an experience for sure. Won’t be going back…. But Giving one star for not getting...

Hawaiian Isle Restaurant is where our Christmas party is. I've been here in yr. 2023 and will be going back this yr. 2024 I can't wait , we just walk in and someone will tell us where to go which has been in the Big area and be seated, we order what we like and it comes out fast and fresh and hot and the staff is always great and gets things right. We talk to everyone and get acquainted and have great conversations and drinks and food and music playing in the background and laughs and stories to share LOL OM LOL šŸ˜† I love the staff they are top notch in my book and pleasant and fun and always available and great people ,we always give a good tip for that one or two staff members that done a excellent job for us. Co-workers and friends have a great time with everyone and enjoy. We even get take out for later. It's the best restaurant for Christmas parties or any occasion or One on One or family. Have a nice time šŸ˜€ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025...
