Taco John's — Restaurant in Platteville

The food here is absolutely delicious. Although they are a bit short-staffed, which is understandable, as I am usually not in a rush. The cleanliness is generally acceptable, mainly minor issues with tables not being wiped off. Given that there are only two people running the place—one manager making tacos and one employee handling the registers, drive-thru, and preparing potato olays, desserts, Etc.—it’s clear they are doing their best.

If an additional employee could be hired to assist with either the cash register or drive-thru, it would greatly improve the overall efficiency and cleanliness. Despite this, there are no significant cleanliness issues, and the food preparation is impeccable. The food is exceptional, and the cooking areas are well-maintained, reflecting the overall positive dining experience.

While I was waiting for a churro, the staff kindly provided an extra one, stating, "We threw in an extra one because of the wait." The wait time was actually quite short, only about 4-5 minutes.

Came here tonight. Went through drive through like usual and again like usual we asked for mild sauce and again they didnt give us any. That's happened to us at least 4 times in a row now. So since we were the only ones there at the time we just went back around to the window. They saw us and totally ignored us. Just standing next to the window. I blew my horn and even my air horn. When they finally came to window the little heavy guy started screaming at us in front of my kids and said next time to park and come in. I told him we just spent $45 dallors and how many times it has happened to us now and told him it's a simple task. He then grabbed a couple packets (3 or 4) and chucked them into my truck hitting my 10 year old. Before I snapped we just drove off. Should have called the cops... Used to go there once a week at least but will never ever go...

I don’t usually go out of my way to leave reviews, but today I felt I had too. We ordered with door dash. And they stole 90% of our order. We called the store and they weren’t angry at all, they re made our order for us no arguing. It’s hard for me and my partner to always go out to get things. We have a new baby, we live on Main Street so we have to walk a good distance to the car everytime we go out. And right now our vehicles tire is damaged so it was really not ideal for us to go pick up our food. But the staff at taco John’s was very friendly and made our time worth it. Good food....
