Service needs help, the old adage when you see now hiring on the door or on the billboard it says everything. Wait about 15 minutes to be seated not bad 👍 waited another 15 minutes to get drinks, waited another 20 minutes and we ordered appetizers and dinner at the same time got appetizers, another 20 minutes later, waited over an hour for dinner? walked up to our waiter, and told them to box it up cuz we had someplace to go, another 15 minutes, a different waitress comes by and asked if we were ready for our check, and I stated not till we get our meal. I'am sorry, 5 minutes later on plates, I stated it is now to go, sorry three minutes later get meals after two hours basically, ate appetizer, good bread, and my salad with anchovies, good. Get home, wife ordered Lasagna, got it, I ordered Milano's tour of Italy, ate Milano's Crab stuffed pasta, good thing I don't have a shellfish allergy. I understand that they just opened, and it takes a little time for the crew to get their groove on, I have worked the business, but they better hurry. Food was good, but I didn't get to eat it at the Restaurant, and it wasn't what I ordered. Flipping a coin decides if we go back. Arrived around 5:30 ish, left 7:30 with food in back, seat? Sorry about the book, but I speak my mind, ask any of my friends there's only Fuzzy. All that previous being said, wife and I decided to give them a second chance, I am glad we did, it was a Friday night, unlike the first time our server this time was spot on and hopping, they did have more staff, she didn't miss a lick. Everything, food, drinks, orders, food served, SPOT ON! I hope we all make them thrive, Plattsmouth, only has a few sit down restaurants for a date night. Our fast food for the most part should just leave very fast. Fuzzy again speaks 😂 and is glad they have improved, and hopefully fly.

An unassuming Italian treat on the edge of Plattsmouth. I had no exceptions other than a desperate Olive Garden knock off attempt but couldn’t have been more wrong. Plentiful portions abound in this Italian suprisa with enough flavor to satisfy your tastebuds. The crab cakes better than I would have usually anticipated in land locked Nebraska. Warm rolls kicked off the feast with pats of butter. Nothing amazing just good and wholesome. The entrees came by the pound and held their own in a way that lends them some credit to step into the ring with pretty much any Italian eatery in the Omaha metro area. The decorum is interesting due to Its lineage coming from an old church. The natural wood serves well to create a warm and inviting atmosphere to relax, conversation, eat and enjoy your time there. All of the dishes had their own profile with a richness that makes it seem like they are made from scratch with real ingredients and a warm heart. Skip the chains around the town and stop in Milanos and share a nice meal with people that you care about.

When in a new town we generally ask for suggestions from the locals and then back that up with Reviews from Google and Yelp ( and occasionally Yahoo and TripAdvisor). A last minute killer is Zero, or Way too many, Cars in the lot. Likewise, a Good sign is Police cars in the lot. Now to Milano's : We got Several Locals that recommended Milano's . The exterior looked like the building was originally a Highway restaurant with a Souvenir shop on the side . According to at least one source, it was an Elks club, or such, in one part of the building's history. 1970-80s style interior which was cool . We received a Large serving that we split and we were both very satisfied . Our server gave us advice that proved right on . We went with the special, and as promised, it was very delicious. Prices were Normal .

Decided to try this place, cause my wife wanted to. Also we were celebrating my mother's birthday as well as a early mother's day lunch. Service was slow, we waited at least 5 mins to get noticed and then seated. Our server was alright, but could use some training. We orderd side salads and galic bread. The salads looked like wilted weeds, the dressing was good though. The garlic bread was nothing special. Our main course was Chicken parm, The 3 meat Trio, and the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and shrimp added. The first two meals looked ok, but the fettuccine was missing the shrimp. I pointed it out to our server and he replied that the kitchen had made a mistake and that the shrimp would be out shortly, even though I told him he could just forget it and remove from the bill. My wife tried my meal and later told me that the sauce tasted like it had shrimp in it, so I think it was not made fresh. When our server brought out our missing shrimp, they were in a bowl with sauce and the tails were left on. Who in there right mind would add shrimp with the tails on to a pasta dish. I guess so you can pick them out of the dish with your fingers and remove the tails yourself. So needless to say we were not impressed with there food. It was bland and boring to say the least. Also we were the only people in the place and the kitchen sounded like a party was going on, singing, spanish music, and making lots of noise, and it actually took away the peace and quiet we were expecting. Our server was nice and polite but never bothered to see if we needed anything or how our food was. But he did keep us in water, so not all was lost. He also treated my mother to some cheesecake for her birthday, so that was nice. He gave us the bill but never returned to take the payment. My wife actually had to run the bill up, or we would have waited even longer to get out of there. The best part of all of this, is that an hour later the fettuccine I ate had made me sick, so needless to say I will not return. This place was a bad experience. Would not recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I went there with very high expectations, we are elderly. We were dotted right away by a lovely young lady, we sat there for quite a while while other people sat and got waited on, got their water and their bread right away. We were still waiting. I stopped a young man that was clearing tables and asked him if he can get us our bread and some water. He said sure, I’ll be right back ,then here comes Amber. She welcomed us asked if we were ready said she would bring our bread right away, and our drinks, we waited for a very long time. We almost got up and left. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered the shrimp scampi. My shrimp was nothing but rubber, and I could never get her attention to refill our drinks, or to tell her about my meal. She was too busy talking to another gal behind the counter. She brought the bill. I put my card in there and my husband and I just looked at each other and said will just never come back. We came all the way from Bellevue because we had heard good things. I’m sorry our experience wasn’t as good so she took my card. She never came back, never came back. I am waving my arms at her. She’s walking away from the counter. I finally get her attention, and she turns around, grabs my debit card and brings it back to the table, and took off . Amber needs to learn elderly people tip also, but I did not tip her because she was terrible! I called back twice asked for a manager. She answered the phone both times took my number said she would have him call me. No one has ever called me so I called back weeks later and talk to Sara which informed me they get a lot of complaints about Amber left my name and phone number. She said she would have the owner or his sister call me and again no one has called me!! so I’m pretty sure Sara was playing me the whole time as was Amber, if that is the type of people that you employ we will not be back and I want you to know I felt this was age discrimination!!
