Margaritas Grill & Cantina — Restaurant in Plattsmouth

I was really looking forward to trying out this restaurant since it just opened, but unfortunately, my experience was far from worse what I had hoped.

First, the service was incredibly slow. It took ages to get our drinks, and even longer for our food to arrive. Us and Another table were the only customers there. When it finally did, I was disappointed by the quality. The tacos were bland and lacked the authentic flavors I was expecting. The guacamole was mushy and tasted like it was made from overripe avocados with green food coloring.

The atmosphere was chaotic, On top of that the staff seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive. With TWO TABLES :|

Overall, I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I really wanted to love this place, but I can't see myself coming back anytime soon. For now I can't recommend it and wouldn’t recommend to anyone that is not expecting canned food as their meal, actually canned food is far more better than what is served here. DO NOT GO HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY, NO ONE DESERVES TO BE MISLEAD WITH NON AUTHENTIC SLOPPY LOWEST QUALITY INGREDIENTS FOR THEIR MAIN PROFIT, HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!! PLACE TO EAT. Quite a surprise. Chili Verde was super tangy. Wife’s carne asada tacos were as good as the ones we got at that place on Palmer Square in Chicago 25 years ago. That is saying something. 64oz of margaritas for $14? Woo! Thrilled legit Mexican food next to Hyvee on the way home from work. Really happy with meal, everything. Bathrooms large and clean. BIG menu. Fast service. Nice plates and glassware. Fancier items on menu, probably for a couple to share, get next time. Actual fancy Mexican stuff, seafood, real Mexican cheese, grilled peppers, etc....

Authentic Mexican recipes expertly prepared. Big food menu. Great margaritas of all kinds, frozen or rocks and specials pricing throughout the week. Large food portions make for excellent leftovers. Service is excellent. Always busy at mealtime. I usually try earlier 4-5 to get quick seating. Kids menu. Best French fries in Nebraska. You can't go wrong here.
