The Lookout at Sundance Resort — Restaurant in Pleasant Grove

Went there to grab a burger when night skiing. I used the self serve kiosks. After waiting 30 minutes and watch the employees hang out with their friends I asked about my order. They proceeded to tell me the kitchen is closed but they are still accepting orders in the kiosks. On top of this, I think the employees just closed the order in the kitchen list. I noticed a bunch of orders there and they were later all cleared out. I got a refund but that took them another 15 minutes. Why is the kitchen closed at 7? Terrible experience! Not sure what happened to this place. We went here nearly every Friday last Summer (2022), and the menu was nice(small but nice) and the food was really good. This year?! What a joke! I paid $19(with tax) for an overcooked chicken sandwich! Chicken breast was dry and it was too small for the bun. Beans tasted like they came out of a can. This was good. Especially after a long day of riding!

It’s cafeteria style, it’s hard to judge Utah BBQ when your from Texas but it was good. The sauce was just there. The crinkle fries were good. I’m not going to say anything bad. It was a nice stop when we got done riding.
