This weekend, we had the absolute pleasure of dining at El Morocco for their weekend brunch, and I can confidently say it was the best brunch I’ve ever had. The service was flawless, the food was pure perfection, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
I’m notoriously picky, especially with egg dishes, but every bite was bursting with flavor and flawlessly prepared. They excel in everything from sweet to savory, with a menu so thoughtfully crafted it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. I tried both their coffees, which were rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed, and they were absolutely fantastic.
The place itself is gorgeous. It is beautifully decorated with stunning Middle Eastern carpets, lanterns, and cozy seating, making it a very charming and comfortable setting to sit and enjoy a meal. On top of the amazing brunch, they also serve traditional Middle Eastern dishes and offer a wonderful dinner menu every day, which I can’t wait to explore further.
If you are not into belly dancers, no worries. They do not have them every night, so you can call ahead when making a reservation to confirm.
After this visit, I am already planning to become a regular at El Morocco. It is an unforgettable dining experience that I highly...
Read moreWe found this place since the other breakfast place we wanted to go to had a 2 hour wait. I was glad we were able to get a table here. The owner was very welcoming and gave us great suggestions on what to order. There were 3 of us and we were quite hungry.
Their coffee was very delicious and made to order. It didn’t need much milk or sugar and was not too bitter which was nice. Moroccans really make good coffee. We ordered a crepe with berries and whipped cream. The crepe was well cooked and the berries and whipped cream paired nicely together. The Bastilla was a phyllo dough stuffed with ground chicken, scrambled eggs, almonds and then topped with powdered sugar. It was crispy and a different texture all together. If I were to order again I would get without the powdered sugar. The Shakshuka was the best. I could’ve ordered a few orders of that. They serve it with some flat bread you use to pick it up and with the egg on top it made it extra delicious. It was a good mix of vegetables and tomatoes and spices and it just all melded well together. Glad we found this place and hope to stop by for dinner and to watch the belly dancer next time we...
Read moreI dined at el Morocco for the first time yesterday and it was an incredible, immersive experience. The owner welcomed my group like family, making us feel like old friends immediately. The atmosphere in the restaurant transports you to a different world with sights, sounds and smells of a far away land. This isn’t the type of place to run in and out of for a quick bite, it deserves an evening for the full, immersive experience. The owner hops onto the stage to play along with the music while a belly dancer entertains throughout the night. The food wasn’t rushed out which helped to allow us ample time to enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment. The staff flowed throughout the dinning room keeping us happy and full with a constant flow of eastern flavors throughout the evening while managing to be an unobtrusive presence, never taking away from the experience. El Morocco is a must try for anyone who desires a fully immersive evening of food and entertainment and is tired of unenthusiastic service just to get substance. I will absolutely be dining there again and encourage all of you to...
