Carrington College — Local services in Pleasant Hill

while my teacher and program director were absolutely wonderful, I’d give Carrington College overall 0 stars if I could. if they need something from you, you will receive emails, phone calls, you name it - over & over until they have what they need but as soon as you need something from them, you’re screwed. I received COUNTLESS emails asking me for my transcripts even after I had already sent them. I understand that Carrington just wanted them to move forward with the enrollment process, but I never once received the same dedication or respect when I needed help. I wanted to use my GI Bill for this program and had to reach out countless times to countless people for them to get the correct paperwork submitted to the VA. I felt like I had to BEG them and they didn’t get this done until I had already been enrolled for over a month when it should’ve been done prior. I’ve never had a problem with another school not getting this paperwork submitted before the term until Carrington College. because of some mitigating circumstances - I made the tough decision to withdraw from Carrington College. I declared this withdrawal in mid-October. now that we are reaching mid-November and the upcoming holiday season, Carrington STILL has not submitted my withdrawal to the VA even after me reaching out numerous times about it. not only are they being neglectful in doing their jobs, they are screwing me over with the VA and there’s nothing I nor the VA can do about this until Carrington submits the proper paperwork. if you want to attend a school that will work with you & actually cares about you - please go anywhere other than here.
