Saddle Brand Coffee — Restaurant in Pleasant Hill

I was super excited to try this place. But then was quickly disappointed when I watched the lady pour my shots of espresso and let them sit while the other young lady was finishing a different drink. For those of you not familiar with espresso the shots go dead very quickly. They cannot sit or it tastes totally different. I did get an iced caramel latte and it had very little flavor to it. The lady the hopped up to help did not seem very happy to be helping the young girl behind the register. I’m so sad as I was so excited...

I recently had a few minutes before an appointment so I stopped in for a caramel apple iced tea and relaxed on the couch with a book. The book was terrible, the tea was fabulous, the couch was comfortable, and the ambiance was relaxing,the decor is gorgeous. What a cozy little place to read!

My visit was mid morning, with only two other customers present. I asked for a bold or dark roast and was told there is only a mild coffee available, and no suggestion for other options, such as an espresso, was given. I received a 12 oz cup of coffee.
