The worst customer service! As a dasher, I ensure I have my hotbag and other tools needed to get the food/product from the merchant to the consumer in a timely manner so that it is as fresh as possible. What I don't expect is to walk into a "ghost town" of a store, where no one is manning the counter or front of house to provide customer service. I understand cutting labor when it's not busy. There is a camera that can see if someone is standing there. I had to yell 3 times each time getting louder to where the third was hoarse on my throat. In between yelling, I listened for anyone responding. What I heard was laughter and conversation in another room. It took the third shout to have someone finally come out to the front to which I asked if anyone works here? Maybe the store was closed and they didn't lock the doors? Maybe someone was in the bathroom? I could have accepted those possibilities, not the condescension in the tone of the young lady whose response was sorry we were in the office training another employee. Either she talks to all customers like this, or she felt emboldened be cause I was just a dasher? I'm thinking they hadn't made the meal yet, but no, she walks over to the side grabs the bag and drink and carelessly puts it in front of me. I mentioned someone should always be up front; to which her snarky attitude continued with a fake appology and saying they were busy. If you know to expect someone to pick up food for a paying customer's delivery, you should be paying closer attention. How many people does it take to train an individual without at least monitoring your camera from the office? I may be a dasher, but I also am a consumer at the end of the day. If I see how little you care about customer service for the ones whose checks you literally depend on, I'm not going to shop there anymore, and I certainly won't recommend this particular location. As a dasher I'm in direct contact with the customer so guarantee when there is a problem and a time response on why they aren't getting their food In a timely manner, they are going to know about it. Perhaps the training should extend to a retraining in hospitality and attitude to the the young lady because at the end of the day you never know who you are addressing. I could of been someone of higher importance than just the dasher she recognized me as, but then the paying customer is of higher importance and she didn't care about them either. This experience alone has convinced me never to eat here again. This time i was the dasher and last time i was the customer and so in the future I will travel the distance to another Taco Bell if need be. As a Veteran who has served and has been in hospitality for many years, I expected more from a customer service aspect as I understand what it means as you represent the company you work for even when you may have difficult situations and customers, you should always maintain a level of professionalism...
Read more*call ahead before placing order to make sure they have the items in stock and the machines are working properly * I’m not sure what is going on with this Taco Bell is used to be really slow long ago then it was fantastic!! Now . . . I don’t know what. This is the second order I placed online that had to be cancelled. The first time I was told they couldn’t make my order and wouldn’t tell me why, no email or call to tell me this before I arrived to pick it up. This time it was cancelled because the fryer was down. I was told I could only get some tacos. Why is the app letting the orders go thru it if the food is not able to be made? And if so why isn’t there a call or email sent saying that there is an issue with the machines that the Order will be refunded. More times than not this location has been out of beef as well. Every other order I placed and mark the No cheese and no sour cream is will be on my food. Just...
Read moreMay 2016... They are Taco Bell and they apparently ran out of beef... WOW! Then they were very short and rude to my wife about it as if she should have known, or was dumb for ordering a taco... Not returning there anytime soon.
June 2016, my wife is pregnant, so we return to Taco Bell... They charge me for my order, and then 10 minutes later they tried to charge me for the next order in line, they had given my order away for free to a friend who wandered into the store... Once I established what my order was, they apologized and then ran out into the parking lot and got my order back from their friend, and then offered it to me,(bag still crumbled from where their friend had gone through it) and gave me four free coupons for crunchy tacos... the only Taco Bell in Pleasant Hill... Drive to Lee Summit, it is worth...
