Dan, your place sucks. There's no way you can make your place better. Three times in a row with the worst experience I've ever had. I can't believe I gave you another chance.

Food may be good, but not worth the incompetence, disorganization of workers, and lack of customer service.

Customer cuts in front of me, and I confront her. All I said was, "I have a phoned-in order too." And then this breezy says, "You should have spoken up." No apologies or anything! Then that made me mad so I raised my voice at her. I mean who wouldn't in my situation. Then the kicker is that the worker, Allison, defends her, saying I was the one being hostile. So I calm down. But how is Allison gonna just straight up defend the person in the wrong? If customer had apologized, I would have been fine with it. If Allison had apologized for the customer or apologized for the mix up, I would have been fine with it. But things just get worse when I tried to talk to Dan over the phone. He hears Allison's side of the story, and then he hears mine. After evaluating both of our stories, he tells me that he's going to trust his worker. So apparently the customer is never right. If you cut in line, you're in the right. If you defend the line cutter, you're in the right as well. So Dan tells me that Allison has asked me to leave, for which I am happy to oblige but after I get my order. So Dan puts Allison on the phone, and it looks like I am going to get my order as she prepares it but then am told I am not allowed to use my passport card, because I'm "...a pain in the ass!" Now it may be okay to think that, however, I am still a customer. Not okay to use curse words towards a customer no matter what. Especially when young people are around. Left without our order. Will not return, and will spread the word to others to not visit this...

I had been craving bbq and was visiting my parents and they insist on going to this place. I had never tried it before so was open to it, but I don't have any desire to go back. Ordering over the phone was a hassle and the guy taking the order was struggling with a large order. We wanted a half a chicken but that wasn't an option through the door dash online ordering system. I also don't trust that since the online ordering is through door dash that all the prices are the same, so I never like to use that option. The guy informed us that the chicken wasn't available so we tried switching the 1/2 rack ribs to the full ribs. But then the chicken was available? And even after reading the order back to him (by his request too) he still charged us for both a 1/2 AND full rack of ribs. $45 of ribs was not exactly what we had wanted. Everything was so extremely salty it was hard for me to eat. The pulled pork was in bbq sauce, which I'm not a fan of as is but for some reason it was in the spicy bbq sauce? My parents said that wasn't normal so I'm unsure. The beans were 70% sauce, was hard to find a bean in there. The cole slaw was just plain cabbage with peppers, that was weird. The brisket and the hot link were good, but I definitely wouldn't go back. Not for how expensive everything was or for how salty it all was. They also almost didn't give us our full order either. I said this doesn't look like enough and she assured me that was it. I looked through it all (which was only the sides) and then she finally grabbed the...

Was very intrested in becoming a regular here, food was awesome, also a fair value.

Unfortunately the customer service disappointed me.

Seriously folks ?? Its 2018 ! Yet you're still into being racist, that's just stupid.

These folks basically kicked me and my real close friend out of their restaurant non verbally,

through body language and tone of voice.

2 young black males were not welcome here

Even after we payed our hard earned money, we did not feel appreciated.

We ordered to dine in, when our food was ready it was walked over to the table we chose to sit at,

Already packed up to go ! when we ordered dine in...

Can you believe that? Isn't that just crazy ?

Then the lady stood there holding our meals until we rose from our seats, in a dismissive fashion.

We instantly felt the negative energy and it was obvious they DID NOT WANT US IN THEIR RESTAURANT.

I was a little sad because theres not many BBQ joints in this region of the bay area and the food was good.

They made it clear that our business and money was not welcome there.

Its 2018 for crying out loud, NOBODY LIKES THIS RACISM Schnanigens ANY MORE.

You lost a good potential regular with your racism and...

I have been here many times and I will certainly be back. The staff is really nice and very accommodating, they have a fun rotating selecting of beer and ciders, and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the food is hit or miss. I am a meat eater. Pulled pork is one of my favorite foods. This time they had a special of fries topped with pick-your-own goodies, for which I chose pulled pork. I hoped it would improve the pork but it is just mushy, over salted and the sauce is watery. I need to stop ordering it. The fries were good though! We ordered the ribs which were very good this time. The vinegar based cole slaw is always a great palate cleanser with all the rich foods. We also did the jerk wings which everyone loved! they had a strong flavor without being over seasoned or too spicy. They were actually even better reheated the next day in the toaster oven. Until next time Slow Hand...

First time having a meal from Slow Hand, the person taking my order didn't add the main thing I wanted. Which was the Beef Brisket, the Links are not as good as Everett and Jones period. If you haven't links from Everett and Jones, you've never had links. The ribs were good nice and tender. Don't get the potatoe salad it's horrible, the coleslaw was good I've never had slaw that taste like theirs. The sweet potatoe tots were awesome!!! Furthermore I'd say the food I had was overall OK. Not the best however not the worst.

Literally the best Reuben Sandwich I have had in years. Fantastic, you can check my reviews, I get Reuben's everywhere and this one was off the chain. Sweet Potato Tots were well fried and I'm pretty sure house made as well. Wife liked the ribs, friends loved their dishes as well. Beer menu was solid w/ some nice semi local options. Service was fantastic, everyone was super friendly. And, believe it or not, the price was not insane, it was super reasonable for BBQ.
