Pleasant Oaks Park — Attraction in Pleasant Hill

The park is huge and clean, but I must admit; parks are so different nowadays. The playground was uniquely safe. You will know what I mean in a few seconds. All the rides are plastic, different and attractive. It had a creative way for the kids to make music sounds. There are a couple of amusement like rides! Even the tables and bench textures are comfortable. The ground surrounding the play area had a cushion flooring; smile! Believe me when I say, “Whomever designed this park either have, had or want to have kids and want them to have a safer and happier place to play”. When I was a kid, we enjoyed the park too and we had iron and steel playgrounds; lol. If you fell, you fell on solid ground and lucky if you fell on grass; lol. If you bumped your head, elbow or knee, kept playing; lol! I won’t mention the hidden splinters or pieces of small broken glass I encountered on the back-in-the-day playgrounds. I was impressed with the various creative rides at this park. There were 2 huge sport fields, could of been 3. Families were nice and most of the kids were toddlers. You probably have sensed I haven’t been to a playground in a long time, but it was surprisedly quite; with kids and one of the fields being in use. Great park for playing baseball especially. There’s also a large enough field to play soccer, frisbee or a number of other field sports. They updated the fields a few years ago and keep them in pretty good shape playground is fun, but small. Great little community park. My boys have played here since before they could walk. It has changed a lot over the years. Now they have state of the are baseball and soccer facilities.
