Italian Village Pizza — Restaurant in Pleasant Hills

Seems as though this location gets consistent 1 star reviews. We had good experiences before at this location but the last few times have been absolutely horrible. Tonight was the worst and unfortunately, will not be ordering from here again. We ordered one hoagie, nothing crazy, just plain. The order came incorrect, which happens but the way it was handled was less than impressive. My fiance and I both called (8:30pm) and nobody answered. Luckily, we live just up the street, my fiance went to speak to someone and was treated like garbage. After asking for the owners number, my fiance called, the owner is seriously degrading and rude. The owner promised to make it tomorrow and my fiance asked for a refund to which the owner replied, "Sorry" and hung up. I placed an online order on a Saturday for the Pleasant Hills location by mistake. I immediately called the store and was told the order was canceled but that a manager would have to refund my card. When I called on Monday, a manager was not available. When I called on Tuesday, a manager told me he could not issue refunds to credit cards and gave me the name and number of the owner. I called the owner and explained the situation. He refused to refund the card because he said it was my error. When I asked for a corporate or franchise number to call, he hung up on me. I would not recommend sharing any credit card information with this location. This is my 3rd time ordering from these guys and last 2 times haven’t been the best. I ordered a steak village roll and I got the roll cold and uncooked. The dough was still raw. This happened before with another order and I called them complaining and the guy I spoke to sent me another one with no charge and it was cooked a little better than the first one but there were still raw dough. I’m not sure what kind of oven they’re using but it definitely doesn’t cook right or they need to thin their dough out so it cooks all the way!!!
