Twisted Fork American Cuisine With a Twist — Restaurant in Pleasant View

We stopped in here today for an early dinner. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with a smile and so much friendliness. As soon as we were seated our very sweet, polite and friendly waitress asked us what we would like to drink and recommend the cheese stick wedges. I love cheese so why not. These were so tasty and the dipping sauce was just as tasty! While giving us time to look over the menu, our waitress suggested some of her favorite items from the menu. I loved that!! I got the Basil tomato grilled cheese! I love grilled cheese and this one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was flavorful and the twisted fries were crispy and tasty too!! My husband got the Philly cheesesteak and that sandwich was stuffed with so much meat and very tasty. Not soggy like some Philly cheesesteak sandwiches you get at other restaurants! If was a very nice atmosphere where everyone was friendly and every customer around us was giving the waitresses compliments about the food. Everyone including the workers were happy to be there. One very special touch was when I walked in the bathroom and there was a pump labeled mouthwash with throw away Dixie cups sitting next to the bottle. What an amazing touch for those that have to go to work or a meeting after eating. The bathroom was also spotless and smelled amazing from the second you opened the door. The entire restaurant was very clean and at a very comfortable temperature! We will definitely go back again and will definitely recommend them to other. Keep shining and doing what you are doing cause your restaurant and staff...

I'm not sure what all the hype is.

We arrived in the morning around eleven.

Coffee was see through weak like 3x used grounds were used.

I ordered the avocado sandwich but asked for mayo instead of chipotle mayo because I can't do spicy. So this one change left this sandwich to be two slices of not even melted cheese on it with a half of an avocado in between. Not grilled enough to melt the cheese. I had to ask for a couple slices of tomato to make it even palatable.

The STEAK fries listed on the menu turned out to be run of the mill crinkle cut fries. They weren't even hot and I wouldn't have wanted them had I known they WEREN'T steak fries.

All in all it was a near $40 experience that we truly wished we, living on retirement funds could take back.

You couldn't pay me to go back.

My friend had the salad that's listed on the menu right above the sandwich that I ordered.

It too was bland.

I'd seen raves on the app Nextdoor about this place.

It was freezing in there.

We sat at the table near the window and had to ask for the music to be turned down because we couldn't hear one another speak. The choice of music was loud and annoying... not even peaceful background music.

Neither one of us would go back.

We were very disappointed. Give me a meat and three anytime over this sort excuse for food.

It's only saving grace was the very pleasant red headed waitress who couldn't have been bring paid enough and who belonged in a higher end setting for the great service...

FANTASTIC FOOD!!! Great bright environment for a quick lunch which transforms into a cozy restaurant at night. I like the design. It's very inviting modern and clean, with a bit of a twist, pun totally intended. I throughly enjoyed my meal here, the waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and could recommend item based off preference, and was open to feedback as they are listening to customers opinions on the food. I think everything on the menu was fair priced for the serving. It might be on the smaller side for some but the quality is what makes it stand out! I had the hot honey wings and WOOOOOOO!!! they were SPICY but they weree sooooooo good. I couldn't spot eating them, I found it on the spicier side of most hot honey, it may have been cause it was on a harder to eat wing that I experienced more heat. My mom had the chicken finger platter, we tried it with the citrus explosion and hot honey. I found the hot honey alittle more tame on the chicken fingers. Next time I may get the chicken fingers with the hot honey on the side to control the heat. I think a wing and fry combo would also work very nicely. Compliments to the chef and owner, nice to have some good inhouse made fresh food here in cheatham county!

I will be back to try the fish and chips when they have perfected the recipe. I know the british girl in me would be excited to have a local joint with authentic fish...
