Johnny D's Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Pleasantville

I used online ordering which was easy and convenient. Would recommend adding an order history to user who register an account online to help confirm that orders are placed as my first time trying to place the order the platform had a hiccup trying to load the payment screen and it cleared my order without placing it however everything worked fine on my second attempt. Delivery time to Travelodge was roughly an hour but I can't say much against that as the inn is in a very awkward area that requires the drives to go all the way through the edge of Absecon to get on rt 30 as the only other road to rt 30 from pleasantville is past the motel and is a one way ramp for entering/exiting AC via the highway. My first pizza arrived and the box was caved in on top as well as the pizza was handled a bit poorly as all the topping cheese and sauce had slid into one half of the pizza leaving the other half naked. I called to let them know what's up and got a replacement pizza which I greatly appreciate as this was my first meal in the last 3 days, thankfully some friends came through for me and sent me money to order some food. The Second pizza was handled perfectly looks and smells amazing while tasting even more amazing. Despite the longer than average delivery time the pizza wasn't cold at all perfect temperature. My large rice pudding dessert also tastes wonderful. All in all wonderful food, perfect customer service, I highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious local Italian restaurant that delivers the Jersey shore food...

UPDATE: 4/18/28; so i decided to give them another xhance after all, when they r dping well they have the best food around!! How stupid of me. Recieve pizza artatching photo. Call the place,wait on hold for the SAME rude man as before! Tell him look I dont know if it fell or what but ALL the toppings are on one side and nothing on the other! His response is "ILl send you a new one, but you have to send the first one back." I said ok. "Ok bye". I didnt get an apology, explaination nothing. Here we are sitting while the rest of our food gets cold. And what do i get for yhr inconcience of dealing with a starving diabetic KId. Basicallt accused of lieing about the damn pizza. Like who would do that, is it really that serious to get ONE free pizza. If i wanted a free pizza I have $100 in reciepts. Now I have to worry about what are they doing to my food before it gets here. Since he was so obvouisly displeased. If it wasnt for the fact im in thr middle of a move and my 10yr old diabetic is hungry I would have sent it ALL back! Johnny Ds will get no more of my money! Fire that man and maybe we will talk.

Horrible customer service!!!!! Have ordered many times!!! Main order taker is rude!!!! Makes rules up charges .75 for lettuce tomato and onion EACH!!!!! Hung up on me cause i got a new phone number not what i usually order from. Food is inconsistent, sometimes burnt!!!!...

It is 8:51 PM. I ordered a whole Italian sub with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers and onions on the side with one slice of pizza and fries. They sent me a turkey and cheese sub. I repeated to the person that took my order three times of what I wanted They sent a turkey and cheese a half of turkey and cheese. I called back to let them know that I ordered a whole Italian with provolone cheese, oregano, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, onions and sweet peppers on the side along with a slice of pizza and french fries call back. The guy that I spoke with at 8:50 was very disrespectful. He told me the company been there for 40 years and he don’t want to serve me. I felt upset and felt like I didn’t want anything done to my food And he gave me the oppression to not order from you guys ever again. I let him know that I order subs from you all the time every year I order subs to take to my uncle in Virginia and I want it correct they don’t have the subs that we have here. He was very nasty and didn’t care about my customer Assistance but from now on, I will not be ordering from you guys and I will be posting something on the Internet how...
