Watch to the end to see if it was worth it. Honestly for the sammies the needed sauce, like something to get that dry ass biscuit wet. Overall 6/10, customer service 9/10 minus 1 point for the worker without knowledge #foodreview #phillyeats #biscuits #phillyfoodies #regularblackgirltiktok #blackgirlcontentcreator

There's a breakfast spot that's the new talk of the town and it's called The Biscuit Lady. We sampled several items during their grand opening weekend and it was a breakfast bonanza. First up, we tried the "Don't Go Bacon My Heart." This dish is a love letter to breakfast sandwiches everywhere. Picture a beef burger patty topped with house-made jalapeño pimento cheese spread, a mountain of crispy bacon, and an over-easy egg between a giant biscuit. Every bite was a symphony of flavors that had my taste buds singing. The spice from the pimento cheese spread was perfectly balanced by the richness of the beef and bacon. It's a breakfast that truly warms the heart. Next on the menu was The Stella, a hearty delight featuring ribeye, egg, Cooper sharp cheese, and fried onions. This sandwich is a breakfast of champions, with tender ribeye and melty cheese creating a mouthwatering experience. The fried onions added a perfect crunch that tied everything together. It's like a Philly Cheesesteak wrapped in a glorious biscuit. The Patty is another standout. An extra-large buttermilk biscuit cradling a sausage patty, egg, and American cheese. This classic combo was executed flawlessly, with the biscuit providing the perfect vessel for the savory fillings. It's a comforting, no-fuss breakfast that hits all the right notes. As for the sweet side, we couldn't resist trying a couple of the "Holy Biscuits." These fried biscuit dough treats, shaped like donuts and dusted in sugar, were a sweet way to end the meal. While they were a bit on the dry side for my taste, they still had good flavor. A little more moisture would have made them perfect, but they were a delightful treat nonetheless. Overall, The Biscuit Lady has quickly become one of my new favorite breakfast spots. With a menu that offers both savory and sweet delights, it's a place where everyone can find something to love.

First and foremost, I’ve been trying to try the Biscuit Lady since she was in Roxborough and it’s been so challenging because my schedule doesn’t usually align with the hours. Well, today was the day!!! I arrived around 11am. The inside dining area was full but, luckily for me, by the time my food was ready a space opened up. There were about 5 groups ahead of me. The line moved quickly. There was a 30min wait for the sandwiches but, they came out fairly quickly (maybe about 15mins). First, I ordered my sweet treats. I got the peach cobbler (4/5), cinnamon roll (5/5), and birthday cake (3/5) biscuits along with the biscoff donut (5/5). I really like that they weren’t that sweet! Although, the peach cobbler and cinnamon roll biscuits did taste the same to me. I would suggest maybe adding peach extract in the dough, if it wasn’t already added to the recipe (or a little more) so it has more of a distinct taste. I didn’t taste the sprinkles “birthday cake flavor” within the biscuit but I was able to taste it on the top. The biscoff was more of the sweeter side but it was flavorful throughout! I also had the Don’t Go Bacon My Heart (4/5) and The Stella biscuit sandwich (3/5). The biscuits were so soft! The don’t go bacon my heart had a special cheese sauce that was packed with flavor. The meat on both sandwiches could use a bit more flavor. It was bland. I would definitely go back and try a different sandwich!

Wonderful experience! Tara and her staff have really "knocked it out of the park!" I discovered her magical biscuits at Lucky's and followed her to the new spot. Wow, what a convenient (compared to Roxborough), fresh and clean location. Everyone is super friendly and upbeat while taking your order. It feels very organized, organized chaos haha! Loved the great music playing...hey, I haven't even gotten to the star of the show yet...THE BISCUITS!!! 😂 Wonderfully buttery and fluffy!!! I loved the simple bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I've had the one with pimento cheese spread with homemade sausage OMG. I will say that the sweet biscuits, which there are MANY varieties, are a bit too much...a bit too gluttonous and decadent for me. My complaint is that they are TOO GOOD! And completely unnecessary hahaha If I add an egg, cheese and crispy bacon then it's justified as breakfast (can we talk about that bacon?! Wow, super crispy and delicious, most breakfast places miss the mark on bacon, it's soggy or chewy. Somehow this bacon is crispy and fantastic!). Oh, the La Colombe coffee was awesome! Had an iced latte, you can taste the double shot of espresso! It all really hits!

The biscuit lady does not disappoint. The biscuits were big, flavorful, moist and delicious on their own! I got the biscuit and gravy, I could only eat one of the two biscuits so would be good to share but if you’re hungry it might be enough. The gravy was delicious, nice pieces of sausage, the gravy was salted well and had great flavor. This is definitely a rich meal but worth it. I did get a hash brown, it was like a McDs one so I wasn’t too impressed so not a repeat but it wasn’t bad just didn’t knock my sock off like the biscuit. I ordered mine to go, very simple to order over the phone and pickup is at the door. It wasn’t very clear were pickup was when I entered initially but I figured it out after a second of looking around. I placed the order and it was done in 5-10 minutes, so if you want convenience I highly recommend ordering to pick up. It was very busy so I can’t speak to wait times or seating. Parking was a bit tough if you wanted to dine in but for to go orders there was a couple of 10 min parking spots. I look forward to trying other things on the menu.

This is a dangerous place to live so close, too. These are the BEST biscuits I've ever had. I've had plenty from renowned bakers. There's magic in these biscuits. We sampled a few specialty biscuits/sweets. The Apple Cheesecake, Pumpkin Spice, Honey Butter Glaze & Blueberry. Not only did the flavors shine, but the biscuits held up and remained soft, buttery and tender. Our actual breakfast items were The Neighborhood Jawn. Sausage & Egg on a grilled biscuit with housemade pimento cheese. Simply the best breakfast Sammie I've ever paid for. We also went old school with the Biscuits & Gravy. Two big plain biscuits swimming in piping hot creamy country style sausage gravy. DAMN good kids. Grandama Style, for sure. The staff & service are warm, friendly and efficient. Several team members felt like sincere ambassadors for the brand and left me feeling they were happy to be there and knew they were selling something special. Get yourself to The Biscuit Lady. Just a couple minutes...maybe 5 if you hit a light off the PA Turnpike.
