The manager here needs to make themselves more available to their employees. Today, the guy working didn't want to give me my latte because there was a glitch with his computer. The coupon didn't work for the latte but it worked for a frozen drink. I showed him the rewards description multiple times so he could see it should work for both and he kept telling me I couldn't use the coupon (after redeeming yet another one). He said he didn't have the managers number when I asked. I got upset and asked is he really serious and he gave me an attitude while handing it to me. He said "If I get fired that's on you." I ignored the comment and asked politely for a straw. He said again "You know if I get fired it's your fault." I asked again if I could please have a straw. He reluctantly handed me one and repeated the same statements about me getting him fired. I don't want to get anyone fired I've worked in this industry for years and it's hard. I’ve been coming here for about two years, and in the past, I’ve dealt with so many problems—bad attitudes, issues with orders, and even inconsistent opening times. But lately, things feel different! For the past week, my wife and I have been stopping here every morning before work, and the improvement is clear. The biggest plus? It’s actually open on time! That was never a guarantee before, but now, it’s a reliable stop to start the day. This morning, we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming man who even made conversation about the weather while we waited for my wife to locate her card. It was such a nice change from the usual experience—and definitely better than having the window slammed in our faces! The last three times we have gone we have waited much longer than other Dunkin’s and often the order is wrong and I had to go in because the drive thru line is so long. 2-3 time longer waits then the two Dunkin’s down the street. The last order was two loaded hash browns, a bagel and a coffee. The bagel tasted old and they forgot one of the hash browns. We used the mobile app to order about 5 minutes ahead and they still got the order wrong We also waited in line several minutes with 3 cars ahead and it took 8 minutes for us to finally reach the window. I hate leaving this comment but they seemed very disorganized and overwhelmed. Probably need better training...
