Star of Siam — Restaurant in Plymouth

We hadn't eaten at the Star of Siam in many years, although we're in Manomet every summer. The reason we hadn't eaten there is many years ago we had a very underwhelming experience with some takeout from them.

I'm happy to say that things have changed for the much much better. We had a large takeout order, and all the dishes we ordered were well seasoned and tasted very good. We ordered medium heat expecting to not be quite spicy enough, but it was exactly what we wanted and maybe a little bit more which was actually good. I'd say they're medium is more like another places seven out of 10 rather than a 5 out of 10. But that was good for us.

So maybe the younger generation of their family taking over has improved things, we certainly were quite pleased and will be ordering from them...

This AMAZING eatery, Is 100 percent, the BEST Thai restaurant in all of southern Massachusetts! Been a customer for years.... Excellent food. Reasonable prices, large portions. Friendly staff. The kitchen area is clearly visible to the customers (which i like) so you can see your food is being prepared in a nice clean environment. Except for outside tables in warm weather. It's take out. Call your order ahead of time, they are pretty busy all the time. If you are approaching it heading south on 3A, it's easy to pass right by it. Slow down when you see Dutchies Greenhouse on your right , Star of Siam will be just around the bend in the road also...
