Uncle Bucks BBQ — Restaurant in Plymouth

A week ago I ordered from them for pickup on Tuesday first day they were opened around 3:05 I got a side of mashed potatoes and side of macaroni and cheese. The mashed potatoes and the macaroni and cheese came in a small. I mean very small container. But for $2 each you get what you pay for however I've tasted better mashed potatoes and mac and cheese somewhere else. I got my kids the chicken fingers and fries meal. The fries were cold and soggy. The fries also tasted expired or maybe they don't change out the fry oil often that went bad. The chicken fingers were also cold and didn't taste right. They were not crispy. They were more soggy. I have also ordered the build your own Burger meal. The burger meal even though cooked to your own liking still seems like an average Burger you can get anywhere else. It's not bad but it's not good either. It's just average. I have not had any other barbecue items yet so I cannot comment on them. However up to this point the only good food item I received from them was the chicken wings with their different sauces. That is if you can afford the price which is higher than everybody else. Not to mention I went off the online menu prices. Yes it does say price is subject to change . However when I went there to pick up my order I asked what was costing me more money and the guy could not giving me an answer. I feel like they just come up with any price they want and that's what you pay. To all the people who had put four or five stars for this restaurant I say this. I really thought I was going to like this place more then I did. For one, the parking lot was not treated and was a giant ice skating rink (photo). You guys should try to avoid people using this as a tool to take legal action, or having the drunk folks eating the pavement out there. The staff was very nice in the bar area and the place is clean and doesn't smell aside from wing sauce and smoked meat. The music at the bar was CRANKED (and I listen to loud music at work all day).. could not have a reasonable conversation with the wife. The 5 fairly drunk folk (at 4:45pm on a monday, come on guys) at the bar were screaming at each other as if they were the only ones there. One nice thing is they have the bearded barrel beer on tap along with your classic domestic choices. The pub wings were 75% butter (you could see right through the sauce to the paper pattern below) and the sauce didn't adhere to the wings and tasted like spiced buttered popcorn. The fireman wings were great, that I will agree on 100%. The ribs, one thing I really thought would be the highlight... was trimmed improperly? It's like the sternum was never trimmed. You could not cut the ribs apart to save your life at the top, you needed to rotate it until the cartridge popped off (picture), hard to see but it was not edible and made getting the rib meat off much more difficult. Flavor was good but a little saddened by the general lack of quality on the ribs. Otherwise great fries and the mack and cheese was very good. Price is right, service was attentive and pleasant but it was lack luster on...

Sitting in the dining area not to bother anyone while I'm doing my review my server was right on point with my drink to my order. Very polite and professional. I started out with their stuffed mushrooms which had crabmeat, drizzled with seasonings and mozzarella cheese. This plate as if I understood correctly 6 ounces so based on the size of the mushrooms you can get anywhere between 3 and 5. All I have to say is this was the first time I had these in a while and I was not disappointed. Very tasty and delicious. My order was the rib combo special, this had a small piece of ribs, chicken, brisket, and pulled pork with their signature sauce and you got two sides. I chose the fire roasted corn, which was really good and had another flavor just couldn't figure out what it was. My second side was their cole slaw, very creamy, not over blasted with vinegar, just perfectly mixed. All my meats were very tender falling right off the bone. My dessert was a piece of peanut butter explosion cake. I'm going to leave it here, get down here to Uncle Bucks, tell them you saw this review. Until next time be blessed...
