McDonald's — Restaurant in Pocahontas

Placed a mobile order and checked in around 15 mins after placing my mobile order. First window lady was nice. Then got to second window and waited another 10-15 mins with no acknowledgment and several people standing around. Finally got our food and got half way home to realize they gave us the wrong sauce, honest mistake if it would’ve been fixed without the hassle the workers gave us. Get back and try to go inside but the doors are locked, which is fine without the workers rudely mouthing “we’re closssseddd” (the manager was one of them) so then we go to the drive though and specifically say “we weren’t given our 4 ranch for our order” we then get to the second window and the lady opens the window slams 2 ranch in our hand and slams the window closed and walks off with no word. So we honked the horn and the front desk lady proceeds to walk as slow as possible and fiddle with everything on the way over to the window, when she finally opens it and we tell her we just need two more ranch for our nuggets. She states “well here’s the thing you have to pay for more”. I then tell here it was put on the mobile order ticket and that we also bought 40 chicken nuggets. She then proceeds to say snarky “Well how many sauces do you have already”. I stated to her “ I don’t see why that matters when you gave us the wrong sauce”. After she finally just gave us our sauce we finally get home to eat our now cold food. Within 2 hours we were throwing up and sick with food poisoning for the next 24-36 hours. McDonald’s has always been great but this new night crew workers need to be trained properly on food handling and taught customer service manners. I am expecting a baby and after putting my baby at risk and how badly we were treated, we won’t be back for...

McDonald's should use this store as their model for doing business. VERY fast, communicated well. Super friendly!

There was one guy working the floor who ran and opened the door with a friendly smile and greeting every time someone walked up.

The register people were friendly and let us know that they would be making our order fresh so it may take a minute or 2 longer than normal they had a rush on food at the drive up....great! Now I am not worried they forgot me when I am watching others get served.

The Manager checked on me at least 2 when she turned to give others their food and apologized each time.

I left very happy and felt good to know that these people still cared about customer service....

SO to McDonalds Corprate.... What is different about this store: Greeted everyone at the door with a smile like a friend No one checked their cell phone for anything the whole time I was there.... They looked at me and talk to me They made me aware that they knew I was waiting and let me know the times involved. The food was prepared right, sauces, napkins etc in the bag correctly The whole place including the bathrooms were clean!

Hats off to them stop in and say hHI from this old yankee next time your in Pocahontas. Perfect...

We will not waste our money on McDonald's again! The last two times we went they forgot something for the Happy Meals! Then, the last time the food was so disgusting! The fries were cold, the cheeseburgers, if you want to call them that, were dried out cheese, maybe two microscopic pieces of minced onions, barely a squirt of mustard and ketchup just thrown on there, not even a whole piece of cheese that was dried up on the burger that did not come close to fitting the bun, it was pathetic! This was a replacement order for the last time! Speaking of the bun, it was dried out and split open, when we picked up the cheeseburgers to put them in our mouths! McDonald's everywhere has gone down so bad! The replacement was rock hard cheeseburgers and another same lousy meal! The very beginning of this month, we went there and the it was hot fresh fries and the hamburgers and nuggets were good, but last 2 times, garbage! Don't waste your time and money, go to BURGER KING instead! BURGER KING is fresh, taste like real flame broiled burgers and it is a great meal! The original chicken sandwich tastes like the 80's ones, juicy with a fresh bun, and fresh lettuce, and the Whoppers are awesome like the 80's...
