I'm leaving my original 5 star review below, however after today's chain of events, I'm changing my current 5 star rating to a 1 star. First, we were at the restaurant at 11:30, we didn't have anyone come to the table for the first 10+ minutes to get a drink order or our food order. My husband got someone's attention and the "manager" came to our table and took our order. It was another 20 minutes before our single appetizer (shrimp and pork summer rolls #3) arrived, with NO PLATES. We had to flag someone down, and she immediately copped a nasty attitude because apparently we put her out. Within a couple of minutes of our appetizer our pho (#8) arrived. Instead of the normal bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and limes, we were given a plate with ONLY bean sprouts and basil. EVERY OTHER TABLE within our view had the proper plate to go into the pho, except us. I approached the same female, who acts like an owner, and AGAIN got the nastiest most unprofessional attitude. THEN, the restaurant has cut back on everything they put in their pho, hardly any and sometimes they OMIT it entirely is the tendon and tripe, but today they actually had the audacity to cut the meatballs into quarters and call it three (3) meatballs when it's literally 3/4 of a SINGLE meatball. I asked to speak to the manager, who was the one who took our order, and I SWEAR the only thing he could say was the most sarcastic, fake version of "I so sorry" over and over and over and over. I had to ask him politely to please stop with the fake apologies. He asked what I wanted him to do about it, I explained that as a chef I would ensure my staff was trained properly. He walked off, and CLEARLY couldn't have cared less. I will definitely find another pho restaurant.
**(Original 5 ⭐) My go to for Pho in the Poconos! Great broth, lots of ingredients and fabulous shrimp/pork summer rolls (the soft ones in rice wrappers and not fried, served cold). We make a blend with hoisin, Sriracha, and soy to add heat and sweet to flavor the soup. DELICIOUS!! Also a GREAT value. 2 people can easily share a large bowl and not leave hungry.
Our order is always a #3 and a #8. They get it...
Read moreAbsolutely Delicious. Never have I ever had Pho first time ever. We were staying at camelbeach resort and this had the best pictures for food options. I’m so glad we went to try it. Put it like this it was so good we went for two days in a row.
The beef and shrimp pho was delicious I have yet to find a spot that I like and that is up to par. They seriously need to open a spot in New York and New Jersey.
The vegetable spring roll was delicious! The fried rice was tasty and delicious too!
What I loved was the consistency every time. The service was sweet and attentive.
The first day we got there at 7:30pm and we were told kitchen closes at 8pm but online it said 9pm so we were a bit bummed about that felt like we were bothering them but they definitely made us feel comfortable happy and fulfilled our tummies!
Definitely a must go! Don’t even think about it! Even if you never had pho go try something new and enjoy it!
They are the best hand down! I’ve tried four other spots in New York and New Jersey and no spot compares or comes close...
Read moreGreat place. Excellent service, delicious food. My parents have a home around the area so they come here almost every weekend. They weren't big on Vietnamese food, but having a home here around the area, they come to really like the place a lot. They like the service as well and they know my son there. Came here over the weekend with the family and had lunch and then dinner the next day. I ordered the pho (with all meat, forgot which number) and then the next day the grilled chicken pho. Both phoking delicious. I like this place 'cause some places you visit and have their pho, you get thirsty shortly after, but this place ... not at all. That must mean no msg or very little. My son likes the pork chops here. I've tasted his and it's really good as well. A definite place to come when you're in the poconos. The only thing missing from their menu, is my favorite dish, Bun Bo Hue. But I'll live when I'm...
