Gino's Pizza & Spaghetti House — Restaurant in Point Pleasant

The pizza itself tasted good...the staff was super informal and not very professional in my opinion but they were polite so that's a plus...now for the bad...we had to go behind the counter and get our own drinks as per staff instructions(the thought of a hundred hands being down in the ice bin is disgusting)...the food took like 35 minutes to come out...the bathroom had dried urine all over the walls by the urinal, the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a week, it's probably been months since it was swept last as there were dried bugs in the corners with cob webs around them, the vanity cabinet was all swelled up and had severe water damage (probably had mold growing on the inside but I didn't check cause I didn't want to touch anything in there)...the staff didn't clean our table after we sat down at a dirty table (they knew)...all in all the place is disgusting, the staff needs professionalism training, and the food was good but I was wary of eating it so I couldn't enjoy it knowing there was probably roaches in the back where...

Food was great, after finally getting to eat it. I called in an order to be picked up and was told it'll be about a 40 minute wait. That's fine being a weekend with sporting events going on. I show up a few minutes early knowingly to pay ahead. I wait for a while for acknowledgement and finally someone comes to the counter. The order i had placed wasn't even in the computer. They told me they haven't had an order with my name on it come in. I showed them on my cellphone where I had called and the time. They argued with me and said I never placed an order. They put the order in this time and I had to wait even longer and all the while the tiny old blonde lady with a known attitude was cussing and yelling about not taking that order while I was still standing there along with multiple others waiting. As I was waiting on my order, others came in with the same issue. This place used to be the go to spot for good food and a place to hang out. Its went to hell and probably won't get better. Walked in and was greeted with a sign that said “please be seated, waitress on Duty” After 15 minutes of waiting while the wait/kitchen staff laughed and carried on behind the counter at 5pm on a Friday and never once even looked at us.... we left. While we waited, this place displayed many signs of a “mediocre frozen reheat” chain restaurant, and the discarded food on the floor and un wiped tables sealed the deal. However, I’m giving this place 2 stars, because I think that the poor demeanor of the staff and overall condition of the restaurant caused us to leave and make a smarter dinner decision in another establishment a few towns over, which inevitably made our road trip better because we weren’t all wrecked by microwaved junk food.
