Tudor's Biscuit World — Restaurant in Point Pleasant

I am not from the Pt Pleasant area anymore, but I stopped here for the first time while traveling through WV. When I walked in, I thought the place looked like it could use a cleaning, but it wasn't horrible. I placed my order at the counter and then went to the restroom where I was appalled to find many cockroaches scurrying around my feet in the tiny not so clean bathroom. After going back to the counter, I grabbed my food and left with fear that I would carry the roaches home with me. They really need to clean this place up! I did take a bite of the sandwich, but I couldn't tell you what I truly thought of the taste as I was pretty focused on the roaches and the less than clean restaurant. The sandwich went in the trash. I have to say I wasn't sure what I was expecting. I have never eaten here before and being from Pennsylvania, we do not have them and it's an honest shame. We decided to stop here for breakfast on our way out of Point Pleasant. The food, the people and the atmosphere was absolutely lovely. We ordered two breakfast platters and the blueberry biscuits and everything was delicious and perfect for our trip back. The owner was there and even did a magic trick for our daughter and gave her a "magic quarter". That is the most precious thing I have ever seen and I can't say enough good things. Grannys Style!! Great Food! Tudors is somewhere between, Home Cooking & Fast Service! I would NOT consider it Fast Food at all! They have many good offerings. I love the Baked Steak, and the Hot Bologna samich is Excellent! Big Biscuits,Sausage Gravy is Great! Love this place,and you can only find them in West Virginia, and few along Eastern Kentucky border,maybe 1 or 2 in Southeast corner of Ohio, but Tudors is a West Virginia Original and they are all over the state!
