Honestly really wanted to like this place. Me and a couple of guys came in for some food a few weeks backs and just wanted to see how it was. Took us a while to get a server and we had to call one over after 15-20 ish minutes. After we actually got a server the food was actually pretty good, but nothing special I have heard rumors that they haven’t actually payed any of their workers yet which worries me heavily as there are some nice people working there. I’ve also heard that some people are getting the wrong food and take out orders which has left some with a bad taste in their mouths. Overall, I would wait for them to work out the quirks, and hiccups then it would probably be better. If your looking for something close, this is it. If...

Ok….. my husband enjoyed his chicken tacos… the chips and salsa Really good. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup. Please…. Remove this from menu. We have had it at every Mexican restaurant around, some are ok, some are wonderful…. This is not even soup! It came out in a buttery chicken fat/ stock… not even broth…. I picked out the boiled pieces of chicken and avocado. Left the whole bowl of liquid there. No one asked if it was ok or not. The top shelf margarita is $15. It does taste good but it doesn’t have any top shelf alcohol in it. It has a no name tequila and gran gala.(gran marnier or Cointreau is top shelf). Restaurant itself is cute, definitely fits in Polk City. Chips, salsa, & queso were delicious! Overall experience...disappointing. Staff was unimpressed upon our arrival, slumped over the counter with very uninviting faces, even when I smiled at them. Then the food came out cold. I ordered a dinner combination with a burrito & chili relleno, the relleno covering was at least an inch thick & when I cut into it it was solid cheese, as in cold & hard. When I brought it to the waitress attention she made a comment "well I didn't cook it". She took the plate then later brought it back exactly how I gave it to her, food was now room temp. Needless to say we won't be going back. Bummer because we had high hopes...
