Was very excited to try. Neat atmosphere, but not a neat experience. If it was half the price I would be giving rave reviews. Here was our experience, not nitpicking the bugs that will be worked out once they are open for a time. -The simple bugs were waiting a long time for drinks And getting pressured to order entree without having something to drink. -I think we got our appetizer by mistake. It came out 60 seconds after we ordered. Took 10-15 more minutes to get our drinks -A $15 whiskey pour should be more than 1/2 inch tall in the glass, including large ice cube. Drinks are limp, ultra expensive, and only ok in quality. Spicy margarita was not spicy. -Food portions are very small and not very appealing from the eye. $35 steak that looks like Bonanza. Very simple on plate with a little bit of Broccoli stems and small scoop of mashed potatoes. $25 soupish Gnocchi without a spoon, bread,or any fixings. My Cubano was towards the bottom of the list of Cubanos I’ve had in the past. Fries were lukewarm -$14 for three very small burnt egg rolls for an appetizer. They faintly tasted like my aunt Da’s. I wish they had more flavor -outside chairs were rock hard. They could definitely use some cushions. Sitting on hard mesh was noticeably uncomfortable. -A little bit of bread or something while you wait for food would be prudent at this price point.
Fully expected a fine dining experience With a lot of grand opening hiccups along the way which we were prepared for. The tininess of food and drink portions without any fine dining fixings, combined with very high prices and mediocre drinks did not impress. We might give it a few months and try again
Overall, it’s a two star review. The servers were decent and learning, and the atmosphere was nice We expected somewhat of a culinary experience...
Read moreThis was my first time experience at this restaurant, I used to work in this city all the time, all that was really around was Mexican food and bar food.
Came to try Arcadia because It looked very tasteful and fancy!
Took longer than 2 minutes to be greeted by a server, mind you there's 4 servers working with a max of probably 15-20 tables, mainly all very young adult staff, waited for straws for our waters for about 5-8 minutes, requested right away!
Food that was served to us was SPECTACULAR, however the premium "broccolini" side was well seasoned but such a rubbish texture! Would rather have at home or at a different restaurant for a cheaper price!
Enjoyed a lovely Mulberry mule! I could bet they have pretty tasty martinis as well!
My chicken sandwich and Korean wings were absolutely delicious!
Was really hoping for some moist towlettes to be served with the wings! Instead we got a wet napkin!
Ordered a blonde fatale that came with some chunks, not sure if that was bottom of the keg or if it was a dirty glass, that also took a good 3-5 minutes to be poured into a small glass and served to me.
I just think if this place dropped their prices about 6% it would be a much more enjoyable and impressive establishment.
They were also out of a few different VERY common selct few brews and entrees!
Overall I think I would come back to see if it was a rough night for servers and inventory.
Also experienced a pitch black restaurant for about 30 seconds, which is pretty unprofessional and surprising for "experienced" staff
Definitely overcharging for a small town restaurant in my opinion! For good food, drinks and service i have no problem paying a $70 tab or so!
So glad to see polk city growing and I hope to have a better...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Arcadia in Polk City, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere, highlighted by the charming brick finish walls that add a touch of rustic elegance. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home while still being special enough for an occasion.
The service was truly commendable—friendly and prompt without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring our dining experience was seamless.
Now, let’s talk about the drinks! I tried both the Smokeshow Old Fashioned and the Autumn Old Fashioned, and I can confidently say that each was crafted to perfection. The balance of flavors in both cocktails was impressive, showcasing the skill of the mixologists behind the bar.
For appetizers, we opted for the wings and the meatballs, and wow, they did not disappoint! The wings were crispy and flavorful, with a variety of sauces to choose from, while the meatballs were tender and packed with flavor. Each bite left us wanting more.
Overall, Arcadia offers a delightful dining experience with fantastic food, excellent drinks, and a cozy atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend for anyone in the Polk City area looking for a...
