IHOP — Restaurant in Ponce

I was impressed upon arriving that I was asked for my vaccination card for me and my husband. That went away quickly when no other patrons were asked for theirs So...waited 15 minutes to get a menu.. Then my husband and I had to share a menu. 20 minutes later to ask for a cup of coffee.. I ordered strawberry crepes. They were ice cold but the strawberries were warm. Disgusting! The breakfast meal my husband ordered was a kid size meal, if that. Ridiculous serving portions.. This was our 2nd time here. The first time was for pumpkin pancakes to go. That even took 20 minutes and they charged us for the meal instead of just pancakes. OVERCHARGED! I have worked in management and customer service over 30 years and have been all over the world. I have been bad but this by far is the WORSE. But it is defintely the LAST TIME I come...

Bad experience, management pay attention! Food took too long, others came later (20 minutes) and got their food before us. All of the food was overcooked, even the pancakes. Countless flies (moscas), dirty/sticky tables. The waiter for the table next to us spilled a coffee, the manager was more worried about clearing a table for more people to come instead of making sure the mess on the floor was cleaned. Never brought refills, did not ask if we wanted any refills. I ordered black coffee, I was given espresso, I spoke to the manager for the right item, he told me I needed to be more specific (for black coffee). While my experience at the IHOP in the past at Caguas was great, can't say the same about my experience in Ponce. Wait was way too long. From sitting down to actually getting the food was a 40 minute wait. The poor waiter was so lost that when he brought the food he stood there for a full minute wondering if there was something missing. I guess the fact that no one was eating didn't clue him in to the fact that we were not giving silverware. And to make matters worse the food was tasteless for the most part. Maybe we were the odd ones out and didn't get the service or food we deserved with the place so full. Oh well not coming back. Hopefully others won't go thru what my...
