My first time here. So excited to try the real deal Mexican food. I ordered the nachos and let me tell you those were some of the best nachos I've ever had. That was until I remembered I had some red sauce to pour on top so I dumped it all over the top little did i know, it was HOT. Very very spicy. When the cashier asked me if I wanted red or green sauce I didn't think about it too much since I was in a rush to get back to work so I said red but that was a mistake. Y'all need a way to let us foolish white people know that red sauce is not to be messed around with. Should change the name of it to El Muerte Rojo. I was fighting for my life but still eating it despite the fact it's painful since it tastes so good. I will certainly be back here to try the gorditas and sopes and explore new dishes. Next time I will ask about the...

Friendly waitress, knowledgeable about the menu. Had plenty of seating.

We dined in, ordered for two people. Waited quite some time for our food which was odd as there were only 4 other people seated waiting for their food. But to be fair, people came in and out for takeout.

Our food came out separately, one person ate while the other sat and waited at least another 10+ minutes. Ordered the loaded French fries with chorizo, fries were cold. Tacos with chicken, 2 portions, the chicken was a bit on the bland side, not the best. However other person ordered the beef quesadillas and they were delicious and super hot! We were served fresh hot chips, but they didn’t come with anything to dip in (disappointing as the chips were good)

In my opinion, the food orders took too long, especially since the restaurant was...

El Rincon in Pontiac, Michigan, is a hidden gem that truly exceeded my expectations as I was passing through the area. As someone who has had excellent tacos all across Texas I have to say the beef and tripe tacos I ordered were delightfully delicious, generously packed with a variety of fresh toppings and bursting with flavor and clearly made with love. The salsas, expertly crafted, were the perfect complement to the tacos. The quality of the food and the attentive service made it clear that these tacos are made with a genuine passion. El Rincon in Pontiac, Michigan, may just be the culinary jewel of the Midwest, particularly for taco...

Amazing food and great service, a must if you're in the area. I had the Mojarra (pictured), some pork tamales, and an orchata to drink. The fish was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy skin, accompanied with refried beans, rice, lettuce, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. The tamales were great, masa was moist, the red sauce the pork is cooked in was very flavorful. My friend's had their torta norteƱa, it's huge, and he said it was delicious. I'll be visiting anytime I'm in the area.

This restaurant used to be El Patron, and was my favorite. Now its El Rincon Chilango. The restaurant was clean, and so was the restroom. The staff was nice and very attentive. The menu has many choices. I hope that the take out menu will be available soon.I ordered the beef Chimichanga. Every place has it's own recipe. I would have liked it to be more spicy and crispy. I will return and try other items.
