MTonysTacos — Restaurant in Pontiac

Had a "no show" rider at noon which gave my stomach plenty of time to make its presence felt. So, while waiting, I searched the area and found MTony's Tacos 3 blocks away. It all looked so good in my nearly famished (😆) condition. Ordered 2 Pastor tacos and had them in hand about two minutes later. Kind of minimalist with just the meat, a sprinkling of chopped raw onion & some sliced cooked onion and a dusting of cilantro. Two slices of cucumber & a bit of lime round it out. $3/each unless you get shrimp, then it's $4/each. Since I don't eat in the car, I was glad for the two picnic tables. Not a perfect setting, sitting between the generator and Huron St., but for the 3 minutes it took me to inhale those tasty tacos, I can deal with it. It was the only "less than" part of the experience. I'd gladly return. Food is delicious, service is very quick & friendly. I think I might relocate next...

Been passing this taco truck for a couple weeks now and I decided to read the reviews tonight…they convinced me to stop by. I ordered four tacos: shrimp, steak, fried pork, and pastor. They were ALL INCREDIBLE! The flavors were intense and perfect. The creamy-ish green sauce was absolutely delicious and a perfect compliment to the different meats. I typically order a burrito but decided to venture out into the taco world. Super glad I did. Do yourself a favor and stop by…you won’t be disappointed AT ALL!!! most days they aren't even there. once went there and they turned us away because they decided to close early. walked up there and back just now because it says they are open and that was a lie. very inconsistent. the few times they did serve me the communication was also difficult so idk not going to consider them anymore and irritated enough to leave...
