Here goes... I drove 🚘all the way from Livonia to get a catfish meal because EB USED to have awesome catfish. I had been thinking about that meal for a week. 😋 Well I just got the catfish meal and was anxious to eat it. 😁 What a HUGE disappointment! 🥺 The catfish is not meaty as it once was, it's loaded with breading and thin. 😫 I also got the dressing and spaghetti 🍝 as side dishes, no flavor on either one. The whole meal was a big disappointment. 👎 I feel as though that was $15.00 💰 wasted. This was at one time a great place to get a good meal. The quality is way down, yet the prices keep going up. 🤔 I'm just so disappointed that they think that thin, breaded fish can pass for the plump juicy catfish 🐟 they once had. One of the neighbor gems. Food very good. Customer service on point. It is a great place for food conversation with locals . Most people carryout my crew of 5 dined in. Everyone was shocked because everyone carries out. But I like hot fresh food . I like to sit and have conversation as we break bread 🍞 together. Which brings my only point remover. Would be nice to have larger dining area but it is not a deal breaker. The chicken gizzard are very good. And look out for their daily specials. I just called this place and the man who answered was so rude. I understand it's Thanksgiving Eve however, you don't have to be rude to someone planning to spend money.
