My husband and I tried Food Craft for the first time on 4 Aug for breakfast. What appeared to be a long wait ended up being only 10 minutes which was a pleasant surprise. My husband ordered the country fried steak and eggs with a biscuit. He requested that everything on his plate to include the home fries and biscuit be covered with gravy. Our server made a big deal about the gravy not being enough to cover the steak, potatoes and biscuit and she'd have to charge extra for the "extra" gravy. Okay, fine, charge extra. Now folks this is supposed to be "sausage gravy" but I'm guessing that the "sausage" in question was merely passed over the tiny bowl. There was certainly no sausage in either the gravy on the country fried steak or in the bowl our server brought us. It was also thin, watery and had no flavor. I can do better with a powered Pioneer country gravy mix at home! Other than the gravy, both my husband's breakfast and mine (sausage and eggs platter with toast and hash brown casserole) was delicious. The $5 Bloody Mary was good too. We don't eat out much these days due to Bidenflation and poor service but we'd had a late night dealing with a leaking front load washing machine and I didn't feel like making a big breakfast at home. Still searching for our "go-to" breakfast spot for the occasional weekend breakfast. Will try Food Craft again sometime but will steer clear of their...
Read moreI used to order for pickup almost everyday because the food is pretty good for a fair price. They suddenly stopped answering phone calls the past couple of weeks. When I finally got through, they told me they won't do pickup orders because they are too busy. When you couple this with the fact that they only stay open for stupid hours 7-2 only, they get a 1 star for service. This is a big disappointment, and could easily be rectified. It's very unprofessional to not have anyone available to answer your phones, and just so you know, it's not a one time thing. I've tried 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks straight. When you won't cater to people because you're either understaffed, or just unwilling, you will eventually get bad reviews.
In terms of food, the quality is okay, but for breakfast food it's nothing really special. If you don't mind the consistent 20+ minute waiting time outside, then have at it. The only reason I ate there was because I could order a sandwich over the phone, and come pick it up and it was near my house. Apparently they don't offer that service anymore. Due to them not answering phones for over two weeks, and when they finally did refusing to take a pick up order, they receive 1 star for terrible service. Truly a...
Read moreFinally had time to try this place out. Walked in on Saturday around 8:30am got sat right away and the place is full. Our server came right away and took our drink order, drops everything and leaves right away. They should ask if the creamer they left on the table but she didn’t. By the time she came back to take the food order I had forgotten about asking for more. Good got to our table pretty quick. I’d say about 20 minutes. Not bad at all! Food got to our table and the young lady asked if we needed anything else and at that time I asked for a coffee refill and creamer. Again 5 creamers (I don’t think they are enough for 2 people but that’s just me I guess) after that we don’t not see out waitress till she came to drop off the check. No “is everything ok here” no “how’s everything?” No “do you need anytime?” I had to wait till then to ask for napkins. Maybe she’s is not that experienced but by looking at the other waitress and waiter they were on point. As a matter of fact the other waitress was the only one that said thank you as we walked out. Not even the hostess or another waitress that was right by the door. Oh well, made it here, experienced it, not impressed at all. It’s like the basic breakfast spot. Nothing to come back for. Wasn’t...
