We had a reservation at 7:00 for 4. We were promptly sat at a nice table and ordered cocktails and guacamole that was not made table side as advertised. The drinks finally came 1 hour later after the guacamole was all gone and our dinner arrived at 9pm refrigerator cold. We all got to go boxes to bring our complete dinners home to make them hot. Service was so bad and when the manager came by our table he did not want to hear about it and moved on. We will not be back or recommend this to anyone.
Edit: After I posted this review, the Sunseekers food general manager contacted me, offering is condolences and a return visit with a generous $$ compensation.
My party of four returned for dinner last night. It was a night and day difference than a month ago. First off, the service personnel were personal and very accommodating. Our waiter, Joey, was top notch, professional and personable. Our cocktails arrived on time with our ceviche appetizer, which was a different take on ceviche than I am used to, but was good. For dinner, one ordered the Carne Asada (very flavorful, excellent), one ordered Snapper Veracruz (awesome, delicious) and the other 2 had the YucatĂĄn Shrimp, based on the waiterâs recommendation. The shrimp were huge and I loved the mojo sauce. Iâm not a rice eater but the cilantro rice that the shrimp came with was scrumptious. I ate it all! The food arrived in a timely matter and was hot. We splurged and had the churros for dessert. They came with 3 different sauces. A perfect ending. On this occasion, we sat outside on the balcony overlooking Charlotte Harbor. It was quieter than the inside restaurant and just added to this most perfect dinner. So we say thank you to the Sunseeker management and to the Blue Lime kitchen and service personnel for making our return visit the one we will remember. We give Blue Lime 5 stars and highly recommend it. We will be back for sure. The food was great and service...
Read moreBad Food, Bad service, Great View New help jitters, or just bad help/management? Our party of 4 are avid Mexican restaurant goers, but all agreed this was the worst experience possible. From confusion being seated by the host stand (we were the first ones in the door), to drinks being spilt on one of our party two different times, to my meal being delivered and eaten before the other 3 meals came out, service was in disarray. Two of the meals were grossly over cooked. Two of the soups (one Bean, one Tortilla) were not even warm. My Snapper dish was cooked upside down (skin side facing up). The Margaritas were $15 for a SMALL, same price as a fish bowl at the better Mexican restaurants in town. We re-ordered drinks before the meals were served and didn't get them until the meals were almost done. Only positive was the great harbor view and our main server was actually very nice. The acoustics in the place are very bad so it gets extremely noisy inside, if you can grab an outside table, do it. I have visited 1 other Allegiant Restaurant (The Stadium) and it was good, but we won't be back to the...
Read moreOur party of 4 arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation so we sat at the bar for a drink. The bartender never came over and after 10 minutes finally brought over their drink menu. A large group came up to the bar way after us and the bartender when right up to them to take their order. Our table was ready so we just decided to order a drink at the table. Well that took another 10 minutes to order a drink. After 20 minutes the server finally took our order but the drinks were still not delivered. After some time later the drinks finally arrived.... but our dinner took over 70 minutes to come put. People sat after us, got their food, ate and left before we got our dinner. The food was very salty and OK at best. I told the manager about the wait and he didn't have anything to say. He did offer us Churros but I said I had to work at 6am and didn't have time. I told him we were local and would never be back. The server did bring us multiple baskets of chips and salsa to try and make the situation better but just said the kitchen...
