We cannot say enough about the incredible experience we had at Waterside Table in Port Charlotte at Sunseeker Resort! Jessie, our server, was nothing short of extraordinary. Despite the lunch menu already being in full swing, Jessie and the kitchen team went out of their way to accommodate our request for breakfast. This was something they certainly didn’t have to do, but Jessie’s dedication to ensuring we had the perfect experience was truly remarkable.

Jessie’s willingness to go above and beyond, when she could have easily stuck to the rules, speaks volumes about the culture of excellence at Waterside Table and Sunseeker Resort. It’s clear that exceeding guest expectations is not just a goal but a standard they take pride in. In a post-COVID world where exceptional service is hard to come by, this experience stands out as the best we’ve encountered. Our first time there! Greeted right away. The manager recognized the couple we were with so they were very impressed with that. We chose to eat outside and felt like we got VIP seating!! The location could not have been better. In the shade but got to see the pool and the harbor. Renee was our waitress. She did a fantastic job with recommendations and we all loved our foods. They had a green eggs and ham burger special and two out of the four had that and both thought it was awesome. Even being full already Renee talked us into dessert but it really wasn’t hard once we saw the menu. Both desserts we had were amazing. That was the only mix up is we received a dessert we did not order but being it was on the table and looked amazing we just stayed with that. However they did bring out the mini donuts also but we were happier with the peanut butter pie and blonde brownie by far! The mini donuts are good just not like mini donuts we get from back home. Visited Sunseeker Resort and had a great lunch. The view of Charlotte Harbor was beautiful. Good size portions 1. Fish & Chips with coleslaw 2. Blackened Shrimp Tacos 3. Blackened Grouper... Yum. All came with one side; we chose fries and a lovely glass of wine. Great presentation. Zack was a friendly and attentive waiter. I'm glad we tried this venue next to the pool.
