El Guero Tacos Port Charlotte — Restaurant in Port Charlotte

Best nachos I’ve had since moving here from San Antonio years ago. Perfection. Tender delicious steak alongside a bunch of toppings. This totally hit the spot 🔥💪🏼

Update: after eating here a few more times I can confidently say this is the best spot to get Mexican food in the area. Recently I had a new special torta they added on the menu and it was mucho fuego 😂 fresh big soft torta, beans, well seasoned and perfectly cooked ribeye steak, cheese, fried egg, crisp fresh veggies, sliced up pieces of hot dogs, jalapeños, tons of layers and flavors in one bite.

Get. The. Asada. Fries. Pour one entire green sauce over them. Add hot sauce to taste. Never eat anything else again. I dont know how you get French fries to stay crispy until I get home, under a mountain of goodness, it’s some sort of engineering marvel. The fries are absolutely life changing. I’m gushing about fries…like…you have to try them. Do you know why I don’t have a picture of them to share? Because you cast aside “self-control” or “patience” when you have this holy grail of fries. No pictures, no distractions, just you and the asada...

I got two pollo tacos and my mother got one asada[steak] and one pastor[pork] great prices, street style just the way I like em. The service was great very kind very welcoming, food is made fresh. The meats were seasoned so good not too much not too little. I also had the horchata and my mother got the watermelon agua fresca. All in all this place did really good. 😊
