This is the place to go!
The food is absolutely DELICIOUS! The unique decor, and the awesome service are just a bonus. The staff really makes you feel like family here, even on your first trip!
Today we ordered a crab Rangoon appetizer- they were crispy, & very flavorful, served with sweet chili sauce; because it was lunch time we were also served chicken noodle soup.. - this was so inviting & the bean sprouts added to the freshness.
The pad Thai here is the best I’ve ever had!! Something about the tangy tamarind sauce with the crunchy bits of peanut & scrambled egg really make you want to go in for another bite!
We also tried the Shrimp Hot Pot- this was MY FAVORITE dish I’ve had from here so far… The glass noodles were coated in a oyster and soy sauce mix over a bed of fresh vegetables. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, but the sauce with the glass noodles really paired very well !

Read moreWhat a disappointment. The Thai restaurant I usually go to is closed on Mondays, so I decided to give Thai Café a try since most of the reviews were good. Boy was I wrong. People, you don't know good Thai food! I can only compare this to other Thai food I have had, and this place is not even in the same ballpark. First of all the place is like a dungeon. Dark and cold inside. The seats are uncomfortable and too big for the tables. All that is not a big deal, but the food is so weak in flavor. So I ordered the Tom Yum soup and it only comes in a tiny bowl with no flavor! I can be okay with a tiny bowl, but it better be special and it was not. The rest of the meal was just as disappointing with NO FLAVOR. Good Thai food needs to look and be full of fresh flavors and this just fell flat. I felt like I was eating at a bad fast food Chinese restaurant. Never again. Do a little research if you like Thai food, there is...
Read moreVery disappointed based on reviews. Nice atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered beef pad thai and beef green curry. Let’s say…don’t order beef! Chewy and gritty. The pad thai was worse for some reason maybe because the sauce was nasty (yes, we have had pad thai many times before). Hubby ordered spice level 4….not even spicey, I tried it and no spicey effect, but the beef and sauce….I struggled between spitting it out and choking it down. The green curry was fresh tasting, vegetables were the right crispness but again, the beef was chewy. We ate the curry as we were really hungry. I did spit out some really chewy gristle I couldn’t break down. They did offer other options, we are not ones to trust ordering something else, we just send back. Then the manager had a hard time (attitude) about comping us for the uneaten pad thai. Hey, the rice chips...
