Jimmy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Port Huron

Service is everything! Businesses just don't get it. Our family loved Jimmy's however I REFUSE to return there after the disrespect I was shown the last 3 times we went there. Each time it was by the owners too...yes, twice by the wife and once by Jimmy him self. They were very short and cut you off when trying to order. Impatient and by look on their face they did not enjoy the job or did not want to be there. Last time I was there it was the wife at the window and I drove off after her treating me poorly verbally. Show some kindness! I don't care how busy you are or how slow you need to treat EVERY customer nicely because they are your business. As for the prices a small Shake was over $3.00 and cones are about the same. I do think its a little highly priced for the quality and amt you receive...you have got to be kidding me. I don't mind paying more if I get quality service but here you will not find that unless maybe you are good friends with the owners. They really need to FIRE the wife...she is a piece of work, never been nice since I first seen here there. Food: Basic ice cream. Best they got going is their custard. You cant really get that anywhere around here. But ice cream you can and Dairy Queen is highly recommended over Jimmy's. Decor: Umbrella tables outside. No inside seating. Drive thru only...totally get it, however, when you're waiting on a family of 4 when we walked up we're going to assume you're waiting on people not in a vehicle with no issues! Absolutely rude customer service, if your attitude was any inkling I can't imagine why you're "short staffed"....I wouldn't want to work there either! It was my daughters birthday, she along with the rest of us hurried up and picked basically the first item we seen since you rudely yelled we better "hurry it up and order" since you had 1 car at the window and you were "short staffed" with 3 of you clearly in there working. Not our problem lady, maybe next time don't allow a whole family to order at the window and you won't have another assuming it's ok. Will never bother going here again, you're lucky the grandparents were there and treating! Take a lesson in customer service and fix your attitude, there are other places to get ice cream in the area and sadly your items were not that good at all to compensate for your...

We love Jimmy's! Whenever we come to PH, we usually drive thru for their famous frozen custard. We tried them for the first time, earlier this Summer. So glad we did! Now it's a regular stop when we're in town. We've had the custard Twist; van/chocolate cone, Brownie Hot Fudge sundae, and the Hot Fudge Cream Puff sundae. ALL VERY GOOD. My favorite? The Original HF Cream Puff with custard. On tonight's visit, after placing our order w/the gal at the speaker, Jimmy himself was at the window to greet us. Such a nice man. Gave us a sample of their chicken noodle soup. We were unaware they served soup, because we don't reside in PH year round, summers only.
