Dave & Buster's Port St. Lucie — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

We went here for father's day because it's newly opened. It was a forty five minute, wait, so while we waited, we played in the arcade. When forty five minutes was about to come up, we headed towards the front door assuming we would be seated seated soon. We waited at the front door for an additional fifteen minutes. While waiting a family of five came in to the restaurant with no reservation and was seated immediately. We watched where they went to be seated and saw many tables open. We waited another additional ten minutes for the hostess to come back. The hostess did not return for several minutes, We saw an employee showed her our text message and how long we had been waiting at this point. She apologized and send us a text so we could be seated but instructed us to go back to the front at the hostess station to be seated. Five minutes pass by and a worker passed by and we showed her our text message and again said we've been waiting for more than an hour. She apologize and said that they were having an off day. Once we were seated, we got what we thought was fast service. We put in 2 meals anf an appetizer plus our 11th month old son's meal. Our son's meal came out after fifteen minutes, Which we thought was fast. We waited thirty minutes before our actual meal came out, but we never received our appetizer. Halfway through eating our main meal the appetizer came to the table. The food was super salty and the waitress never came back to the table to give us drinks. We tried to wave her down multiple times and we were ignored while she got drinks for other tables and took orders. We finally had to ask another waitress to bring us our check. The other waitresdress said she will let our waitress know that we are ready for the bill. We waited another ten minutes before the waitress came with our bill. When the waitress handed the device so we could pay. She started talking about tipping options. My fiancé and I were both surprised that she would be talking about getting a tip after such horrible service. We ended up going through a drive through after paying due to never being able to get a refill on a beverages that we almost empty when getting the meals. We are definitely hopeful the next visit Will be better, so we can change this review. The two major issues being the food tasting heavily of salt, which can improve as the Chefs/ Cooks Get experience And terrible customer service from some waitresses. It's unacceptable not to check on your tables as you pass by them. And it's also unacceptable that during an entire meal a drink is never refilled, especially when you've been seated at the table for almost an...

If I ever decide to go back, I'll re-consider my review, but for now I will just be honest and tell you my experience. We were celebrating my son's 21st birthday, which happened to fall on a Wednesday, which is 1/2 price night. So we were already expecting it to be busy. What we were not expecting however, was poor service all around.

When we enterered we put our name on the list for a table, we were told approx. 50 minute wait time, no problem. We asked where to buy the game cards, they told us where to go, and then we were on our own. There were no employees in this area to help us figure anything out. Not the end of the world, however it was our first time, and even though we did some research online, it would be helpful to have employees explain stuff, like if you want to add your points to your apple wallet you have to buy the points on the app, NOT from a card in the store, so we were unable to do that, which was annoying because we had 3 people sharing points from our party.

Our table was ready, we got seated and the server asked us for our drink order. I said we wanted to order apps, and he insisted that he go get our drinks first and he will come back to get the app order. When he finally came back with our drinks, he took the app order and asked us for our food order, we said we needed a moment still to review the menu. 30 minutes later, our apps arrived and the server never came back to get our food order, we asked the server who delivered our apps to please find him since we still needed to get our food order in. He comes back, and tells us the kitchen is backed up so it could be 25-30 minutes for food. We waited over an hour for our food. Here's the best part. When they came to the table to deliver the food, I was then told, they did not have what I ordered and he was "just told" this. So I waited over an hour for food and nobody knew they did not have a steak bowl? He asked if I wanted anything else, and I said absolutely not, at this point it's after 9pm and I'm not waiting another hour for food, I'm done.

The manager Chelseas came over, apologized profusely. She made it right, thankfully, and I defintiely appreciated that. She's the only reason I gave this review a 2nd star. It honestly deserved 1 star. She told me she knew 30 minutes prior that they ran out of steak bowls so she did not understand why nobody told me. All I know is I was thankful for them making it right, but it was just a really bad first time experience, and to have it happen on my son's birthday made it...
