Taco Bob's — Restaurant in Portage

My experience today was not at all what I was expecting. They were a little busy at the time so someone came out to the car to get our order. We ordered 2 chicken funny’s, 6 beef, a large pop and a cookie. However, when we got to the window we over heard the employees talking about how the people in front of us got our order…. They didn’t let us know or inform us that they had to remake our food real quick. So we were just sitting at the window. Then while waiting were told earlier in the day the pop machine stopped working so they were unable to give us that.So I asked then why did the lady allow us to order a pop if the machine was down? And what do we do since it’s all paid for? They guy at the window said you can have tea or water that’s it. Sorry. I didnt want to push things so we got a tea. Then we get our order and pull forward to check it and they had mixed one of our chicken funny’s with beef and chicken. This wouldn’t have been a problem but one of us does not eat beef, any kind of red meat pork so we then had to go back in to get this funny remade for the 3rd time. It was all around not a...

Our service in the drive through was pleasant, considering and attentive. However, when it came to the food we were seriously let down. The beans were cold and still bean consistency, the rice was dull and flavorless-cold. The biggest let down, was the funny tacos. These tacos are the reason I come to taco bobs, among others. How can this location(Centre) mess up this chains’ staple taco so seriously? It had barely any lettuce, and roughly 1/4” tomato diced pieces numbering in the low 3-4’s per taco. Not enough cheese between the shells, the hard shell taco was almost as soft as the soft shell taco, and I’m not sure which shell is to blame. The meat was bland and mushy; more reminiscent of the beans than of beef. Needless to really say, I’m worried that if I return to this location again, my food will be sub-par once more.

This isn't the first, second or third time this Taco bobs has forgotten something of my order and today was no different and I went inside. If I didn't check my bags I would of left with 1 chip not 3, 1 cheese not 2, my mini wet came with tomato and lettuce which I said I didn't want and is on the receipt. It's not hard. I know I worked at the one on portage Rd and this crap doesn't happen. Maybe you guys should go their and learn something. I also don't appreciate that you try to make it my fault and try to tell me that I wasn't supposed to have 3 , but I ordered 2 number 4s and a mini wet. 3CHIPS.
