Aroma Joe's — Restaurant in Portland

I enjoy coming to this Aroma Joes. The staff is always wonderful and kind. I am a bit disappointed by one staff member.. I had ordered my food and drink at the first window with a very kind young lady but when I saw the girl who was making my food, she was not wearing gloves and she was also eating and touching her phone.. I had asked the lady who took my order the name of the girl handling my food and she had told me her name is Lauren. I am extremely dissatisfied by this visit because firstly, why are you not wearing gloves while handling food? She was holding my pretzel with her bare hands, and then to be eating and not washing your hands and touching your phone while doing that as well.. I don’t know. My 4 star on atmosphere is simply because this location is non-stop busy. That is not remotely anything the staff can change. Tip on food...when ordering food and beverage, make the food requests first, the food comes out usually faster. As for the staff, I think they're awesome. 90% of the time they are awesome - depsite having a job where you stand all day and there is a constant stream of requests! Sure there may be a surly one every once and awhile...but just take a moment to let them know you're glad they're there and they do a complete 360 flip. And...the dog treats are...

Employees need to be aware of promotions, I come here almost everyday and the staff are great. I’ve had this one female employee twice and both times wasn’t nice. She charged me $4 something for the iced tea that’s on promotion for $2 after 12 until April 30th. When I asked her about it she said nobody told her anything and she doesn’t even know if there doing it still very rudely. Which I found strange sense it’s posted on social media...
