My husband and I decided to hit a couple of food carts at Cartlandia and share some items. We got the #13 Lemongrass pork sandwich from Banh Mi Fusion PDX. It was delicious! The bread was the right combo of crusty and chewy. The meat was tender and flavorful. For an extra $2 you can get extra meat, which I highly recommend. It came dressed with julienne carrots, cucumber, jalapeños and cilantro. At first I thought that it was bellpepper, so I was not expecting the bite of a decently hot jalapeño. If you are a wuss like me, maybe take the jalapeño out. We liked it so much that we ordered a second to take home for dinner. We also ordered the pork buns and crab puffs to eat with dinner as well. Read moreWorst service. Granted it's food cart but the guy taking orders was rude, I ordered 2 Bahn mi sandwiches, he grumbled under his breath even after giving a tip first. Then wait 30 min for the 2 sandwiches. My beeper went off, I returned, he shoved the sandwiches at me. I said thank you and he slammed the windows shut. I've never been there, there was no line, we had no other interactions.
